Hey, It's Okay....
....to still be amused how worked up people got over the Unicorn Frappuccino.
....to be confused on why my daughter wants a fidget spinner. I guess they are all the rage at the moment. She can't take it to school though, because her teacher will take it away. "She's already taken like five fidget spinners," Natalie told me seriously.
....to have immediately thought, "Do I have to go?" when Tom mentioned a going away BBQ for someone he works with this weekend. Followed by, "If I have to go, can I bring a book?" Ah, the life of an introvert.
....to not be doing anything for Fiesta. Apparently it's the thing Texas does for like two weeks and it just seems like a crowded drunken mess to me. The kids actually have off school Friday for the Fiesta parade. Natalie was like, "Are we going?" and I was like, "Nope!" Too crowded. Nowhere to park. Pass.
....to love trying all the new drinks that are released. I tried the Unicorn Frapp, the Minute Maid slushie from McDonalds, and recently, the Froot Loop milkshake from Burger King. It basically tasted like the cereal with vanilla milkshake. If you like Froot Loops, you'd like the shake.

The teacher really shouldn't be taking the fidget spinners away. They are for kids to cope, especially kids with adhd and stuff like that. They are a tool, not a toy.

ReplyDeleteUmmmm froot loop shake? Say, what?!?! I'm not normally a fan of cereal but this takes me back to my childhood. I think it's a must! I'm okay that I'm okay with eating froot loops again...in shake form!

ReplyDeleteHave I been out of the classroom for so long that I don't know what a fidget spinner is?! I'm all about the hand fidgets (for students that need it and use it as a tool!) This fidget spinner is new to me. (Just googled it and I can see how a 9-year old would find them very fascinating!)

ReplyDeleteOur local ice cream place has a new flavor called "Once in a Blue Moon" and it's light blue ice cream but it should be called Froot Loops. That's exactly what it tastes like! You'd love it!

ReplyDeleteI like how pretty the unicorn frap looks, but I don't think I'd actually like the taste. I joked that Starbucks should have some in the store that you can pay $1 to take a pic with and then pass to the next person. I bet my kids would love it, though. I saved my sweet tooth for delicious cupcakes this weekend instead.

ReplyDeleteI can only imagine what the fruit loop shake tastes like. I like the cereal but the shake scares me. Then again I was just at a donut shop with bacon on maple bars and cereal on top of cream filled donuts as well as Oreos stuffed in eclairs. It was amazing and horrible all at the same time.

ReplyDeleteI tried the unicorn Frappuccino for the same reason.. I just had to! need to get to BK to try the fruit loops shake.. I once had a lucky charms Frappuccino from Starbucks and it was awesome.. it was a one day special.. might be on their secret menu. love those drinks!
