Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude.

Hey, It's Okay....

....to be getting a new faucet for the kitchen sink. You know you're an adult when you're excited about things like this.

....to hope Tom likes his birthday gifts. His birthday is Saturday. He's getting a razor and some Rick & Morty stuff. He's not the easiest to shop for.

....to not know if I'll watch 13 Reasons Why on Netflix. I keep hearing about it, but it'll probably tear at my heart too much.

....to see if I can get tickets for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 this weekend.

....to still be waiting for the new season of Orange Is The New Black even though a hacker has released it. I think it's wrong what they did. (And apparently it's down now.) But I had lots of people on Facebook share the episodes from a guy who was all, "Here it is. Your welcome." First of all, dude, use proper grammar. Second of all, pass. Don't be gross.

....to think it's funny that Tom suggested we go out to eat on his birthday instead of having me cook for him. It's because I'm not the greatest cook. I'm not offended. Relieved, actually, because it means I don't have to cook!

....to love that our Target decorated for the release of the new Mario Kart game on Nintendo Switch:

    1. I watched 13 Reasons. I thought it brought up essential subjects that parents should be discussing with teens and pre-teens. It also was a bit of a wake-up call for parents who get absorbed in everything but their children.

I absolutely would advise to let kids watch it alone and I think a parents should watch it before watching it with their kids just to prepare themselves with answers and questions?

  9. Yeah the online community keep.on promoting this 13 Reasons on Netflicks, but for mr it only glorifies the suicide cases. Not my cup of tea, either. :)

  16. I want to watch 13 Reasons Why...I read the book and I didn't like it for the reasons people are saying the show isn't so great, but I think for adults it should be worth watching.

  17. I definitely DO NOT take offense in the fact that my husband doesn't like my cooking - he has a VERY SPECIFIC palette, so us going out to eat on his birthday is TOTALLY OK with me!

  18. My husband's birthday is tomorrow, and I guess it will have to be okay with me that he wants me to cook instead of go out. Lol. And let's not watch 13 Reasons Why together, okay? I can't be the only one who doesn't want to hit play!

  22. We just replaced out faucet a couple weeks ago... Not only the excitement at getting a new one, but the excitement of PICKING one out. Although I think my in-laws new one is even better than our new one. It lights up to tell you the the water is cold, warm or hot. Pretty nifty.

  23. Very cute!! Is it ok that I agree with you on your last point?! LOL My daughter loved that Target had decorated for Mario Bros.

  24. Ha! I do enjoy your it's ok! I am watching 13 reasons and it is good but so many questions...sinks can be very exciting when you're a homeowner and birthday meal out sounds just perfect if you ask me! I can't cook much either!

  25. I love how fun your blog always is to read - even the normal everyday things like the ones you list in this series.

And I really, really love that you held out on the hacked episodes. The world needs more people like you.

  32. I need to learn more about linking up. Looks like you are going to have a very exciting week! In regard to OITNB: I hate when people spoil things for others...ugh but hey it is okay!

  33. I didn't know that's why they had the Mario stuff out there. But it totally makes sense. I know that they decorated it when Pokemon Go got really popular. But that's cool that they are decorating it again.

  35. And, yet, another reason I wish there was a Target nearby!
My husband is hard to buy for too.
I want to watch 13 Reasons Why but don't want to have to resubscribe to Netflix.

  36. Everything is perfect as it is. Great article and approach. Life is wonderful!

  37. I loved 13 Reasons Why. I definitely think its a must watch for parents. And I agree, watching the episodes of OITNB is tacky and unfair to the people involved, thus I haven't watched it yet.

I've been avoiding target lol (they're not good for my wallet). But, I'll have to check to see if ours did the same.

  38. These are all great things that are okay. I hope Tom has a great Birthday (lol at wanting to go out to eat). I can't believe someone hacked the show. That is so wrong and I didn't even peek even though I was tempted.

  39. I love this idea! It's so cute. I think I'll be skipping 13 Reasons Why. I've heard just such mixed reviews about it, I'd rather just skip it.

  40. Heard a lot about 13 Reasons but it's not of my genre! I'm watching VEEP on HBO these days and its very entertaining! I'm sure you've some big plans for Tom this weekend!

  41. Haha I swear every time I open twitter someone is tweeting about 13?Reasons. I still haven't watched and probably never will lol
