I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude. To the lady who keeps linking up religious posts that has nothing to do with this: stop it.
Hey, It's Okay....
....to hope that everyone has a wonderful 4th of July! I'm celebrating with family members.
....to hope you're having a great day even if you DON'T celebrate the 4th of July.
....to think it's cute that Natalie is like, "But do the British people still like us even though we beat them twice in a war?" (For the most part yes, but I imagine they find Americans obnoxious, and I have to agree, some of us are.)
.....to have figured out how to fix my blog. It was a headache. See, I paid someone to set it up and she uploaded photos into her Photobucket account. Well, Photobucket now wants to charge $400 if you use host from third party people so all my images went away and all you could see was big black Photobucket boxes. I panicked because I know very little about HTML. But I fixed most of it. There are still some things that need help, but I am so glad it basically looks okay. And now I know more HTML!
....to hope we can see Despicable Me 3 soon. Plus the new Spiderman movie.
....to think it's cute that Natalie is all decked out for 4th of July:
We even got her brother involved even though he was like, "What is all this? Do I really have to touch her? She might be sticky."

Religious posts?? Really?? Gahhhh they gotta force their agenda somehow lmao.
ReplyDeleteHave a great 4th!!!
Religious post? Amber didn't mention religion
DeleteI'm suddenly wondering if my blog has that photobucket problem! I'll have to look at it later!
ReplyDeleteHope you all are having a great 4th of July!
ReplyDeletehaha, but was she sticky?
ReplyDeleteThe broken blog thing is SO SCARY! I have lost sleep over it before, and that was before I went professional. Now I'd have to breathe into a paper bag.
Hope you had a great 4th!!
ReplyDeleteThe Photobucket fiasco sounds like a huge pain in the butt. And I totally hate when people cannot follow the rules of a link-up or other rules in general.
ReplyDeleteI love your It´s ok post! And how cute is the question from Natalie!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a British person and on the whole I love Americans (I've met some horrid ones, but then I've met some horrid Brits as well haha)
ReplyDeleteLOVE how cute they both are for the fourth of July! So festive! And i'd agree, Brits probably think we are super obnoxious lol
ReplyDeleteGood for you for learning HTML. Everything looks great. I'd rather pay $25 a year for Flickr than pay a ridiculous amount on Photobucket (my cheapness is coming out).
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great 4th of July! Glad to heard you've fixed your blog! must have been so stressful! xx corinne
ReplyDeleteLove this idea. Definitely stealing it haha. Your daughter's question about Brits liking us made me giggle out loud:-)
ReplyDeleteAwww I love this! Love the kids' outfits as well. :) Hope you had a good 4th!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your site. I can imagine that was really stressful. Glad, you learned something new.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you have someone telling your site with religious posts, so frustrating!! As for making a "Hey, it's ok" list - I love simplistic ideas like that that make you appreciate the small things!
ReplyDeleteI love her outfit. We are so excited to go see the new Spiderman movie. Your Son does not look thrilled to be taking that picture lol.
ReplyDeleteHwy m loving your its okay posts( guess I might as well steal the idea n give you the credit;))..but it was great to know of HTML, as I too felt panicked when I initiated with fixing bugs n making my site look good..we feel over the top when such complex things get done..you really rocked 4th July!!
ReplyDeleteit's Ok ... If you eat with both of your hands even when your mouth is full of food :) .. a True foodie
ReplyDeleteI ust wrote a hey its okay post and linked up with you Amber.I was in a mood just for this.
ReplyDeleteLOL, such a cute picture of brother and sister! Lol I didn't do anything for the 4th and that was fine by me, lol
ReplyDeleteHey Its okay sounds like a great idea. Loved reading about things from your list. I think we all need to remind ourselves that its ok :)
ReplyDeleteYour kids look so cute all dressed up for the 4th of July! I'm so glad I taught myself some basic HTML and CSS, it makes solving blog problems so much less of a headache!
ReplyDeleteHahaha do British people like us. That is cute. I have been to the UK 4 times now and people are always nice. I do feel like the tolerate the American accent at best. However on the flip side, a lot of British people I've met have been super awkward compared to Americans. We do have the good stereotype of being the friendlier English speakers (the Irish are thought of as friendly too).
ReplyDeleteHope you guys had a wonderful 4th of July. Your kids are too adorable. I think all of us wonder if things are okay a dozen times a day.
ReplyDeleteI hope you and your family had a wonderful 4th of July! Your kids are so cute - and your son's face is cracking me up! I've always loved the 4th - growing up, my town had a little parade where you could decorate your bike, etc., and my dad used to help me get my little speedster all decked it. I was RIDICULOUSLY excited when my husband and I bought a home a few years ago in a little town that has a very similar tradition :)
ReplyDeleteI never hosted my images via photobucket, but it sounds like a huge pain. I am glad you figured it out
ReplyDeleteOh Amber, you kill me with your posts and that sneaky little dig about..... oh boy! :)
ReplyDeleteHope your 4th was awesome!
Haha Natalis is funny. And to answer her question based in what my Brit friends are telling me:
ReplyDeleteMost Brits or English are okay with Yankees or Americans in civil. But you have to experience communicating and joining the English crowd then you be the judge.
I hate when things break on my blog. Worst nightmare!!! Does sound like a good 4th though :)
ReplyDeleteI prefer to just upload all images right into Wordpress, which is what I use for my blog. Hope you get it all sorted out!
ReplyDeleteNatalie is really cute with her 4th of July outfit! I love your Hey It's okay posts.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to redesign mynwebsite even though I have only had it up for two weeks...Hey It's Okay
ReplyDeleteLove your posts by the way.
