I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude.
Hey, It's Okay....
.....to be enjoying the quiet. The kids are with my parents. Tommy comes home in a few days but Natalie will be there another week.
.....to have gone on a date with my husband. He doesn't have many days off, but we did fit in dinner to a Brazilian Steakhouse.
.....to be watching Big Brother but am annoyed with Paul. I wish he'd stop referring to himself as "your boy." Stop it. So annoying. Also, Cody is a straight up jerk.
....to have gone to see Despicable Me 3 last weekend. It was amusing.
....to want to see the new Spiderman movie but we have to wait until Natalie comes back. Otherwise she'll be offended that we went without her.
.....to think this photo of Tom and Natalie is hilarious. I found the shirt at Walmart and knew I had to get it. Tom's going to be one of those fathers who make dates nervous.

I know you aren't a live feed watcher, but believe me Paul is WORSE on live feeds. It's horrible!!
I'm so glad you were able to enjoy a date night with your husband! So are those needed sometimes.
ReplyDeleteThat shirt is pretty funny. The photo of your hubby and your daughter with that shirt is also hilarious!

Yes, enjoy the peace and quiet! You deserve it!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, Tom makes me nervous and I'm an adult!
These once in a while dates are needed to keep the relationship fresh, and a time to remember the feelings both have for each other. Busy life and kids do tend to make us forget :)
ReplyDeleteLol I like that shirt! Tough call for parents, but its kinda cute too.
ReplyDeleteLoved the tee for sure & want walmart to sell it across all their stores, as we all need it, lol. Enjoyed reading it!

ReplyDeleteSame scenario! We had the kids at Cassidy's mom's house and almost saw Spiderman. Scarlet would have been pissed! Perhaps this weekend.
