Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude.





Hey, It's Okay....




....to have thought the race between Michael Phelps and the shark was cheesy. I kept hearing about it so I caught it on repeat and I was like !!!??.



....to finally have checked out Schlitterbaun, which is this giant water park nearby. Tom's Great Uncle visited us from Houston, and he works at Schlitterbaun Galveston, so we got in free. It reminded me why I generally don't go to theme parks with my husband anymore though. He's too impatient for me.



.....to have really liked the movie Dunkirk. I highly recommend it!



....to be really annoyed with how Big Brother is going. I'm close to giving it up. I cannot stand Cody and Jessica.



....to have picked this birthday cake funnel cake at Schlitterbaun for my lunch. It filled me up, that's for sure! There was a funnel cake, birthday cake flavored ice cream, and whipped cream. Yum.

    Yeah, I am pretty much over Big Brother this season. I DESPISE the Paul show. I'm so annoyed with the casting choices and bringing back a vet. Big Brother Over the Top (the online series on CBS) was AMAZING though. I wish they'd do another one. It was cast by a different person and the show was great (minus Jason Roy). It's worth signing up for CBS All Access to watch it....

    I totally missed the race between Michael Phelps and a shark. I totally agree in your cheesiness assessment. That birthday cake funnel cake looks divine!

    I'm SO glad I'm not the only one about that dumb shark race thing. I rolled my eyes and told my husband I wouldn't be wasting my time haha.

    How awesome that you got in to Schlitterbaun for free! I love theme parks, I wish I knew somebody who could get ME in for free hehe. Birthday cake funnel cake is always an acceptable meal if you ask me. :P

    I'm also going to see Dunkirk this weekend! I'm glad you liked it. :)

    I didn't watch the shark race, because I thought it was pretty silly too.. and I think funnel cake is the perfect birthday lunch. Happy Birthday!

    It would be a great experience to visit other places like Schlitterbahn and a having birthday cake funnel cake is simply amazing. Have a wonderful day!

    We have Schlitterbahn here but I haven't gone since a kid died on one of the rides! The funnel cake looks amazing though!

    I want to see Dunkirk, so I'm glad to hear people liking it. Also the whole thing with the shark and Phelps aggravates me- Discovery keeps pulling all of these stunts to get them to watch Shark Week and it's hurting more than helping.

    We went to a waterpark last weekend too. It was pretty awesome but I know why I don't pay to go much anymore either, the lines are too long and there are SO many steps for the slides, lol #oldladyonboard

    That birthday funnel cake looks amazing. I would say its more then okay to eat it by yourself and enjoy every delicious bite. I'd also say that its okay that shark weeks makes some not want to goto the beach after.

    Gosh that funnel cake looks so dang delicious. Now I want carnival food!!! Yummy!! The sprinkes are a nice touch I've never had funnel cake with sprinkles!
