I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
Hey, It's Okay....
...to have to wait to see the new Star Wars movie because my husband has to work. Actually, I am NOT okay with it. If I were mean, I'd just go see it with the kids, but I promised I'd wait for him.
....to be going to Six Flags this weekend to check out their Christmas displays.
....to have laughed when Natalie asked if I wanted to be a parent volunteer for her school play to make costumes. I don't sew. I go online and buy.
....to be celebrating my wedding anniversary on Sunday. That's when we're going to Six Flags, as well as going out to eat. The kids will be with us, but hey, that's okay!
....to have taken Natalie to Sea World and had dinner with Rudolph and friends. It was a fun time. I pigged out on all the cookies they had out. They kept bringing in trays of them.

What a fun event at Sea World!!! I would have eaten all of the cookies too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!!! You look so pretty in that picture Amber. I love your dimples!
ReplyDeleteMy husband went to see Star Wars without me or my daughters. He had gotten two tickets to opening day and instead he kept my son out of school, I was so devastated.
ReplyDeleteI am holding off on seeing the new star wars movie, but only because I hate to go in crowds, so I am waiting for the hype to die down for a few weeks before I go.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on celebrating your wedding anniversary, even if you do take the kids along. So many times my husband and I have skipped celebrating because life got in the way, and it's worth celebrating! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI don't like amusement parks much, but come XMAS TIME... I DO! I am actually going to Universal Studios on Thursday just because I wanna do the XMAS THING!!!
ReplyDeleteStar Wars has ben picked for our family Christmas movie. Now the fun begins trying to find an open night for 5 kids and 5 grandkids to all get together. This should be a blast and a half.
ReplyDeleteWe live in such a small town. I wish we had such fun things to do close to us!
ReplyDeleteWe are super excited to see Star Wars, but won't see it opening night. Perhaps that Sunday, when the crowd won't be too bad.
ReplyDeleteHow fun at Sea World! I wish we lived near one. We went this summer in FL and had so much fun - just not enough time to explore every nook and area!
ReplyDeleteWe were going to do Six Flags this weekend to check it out. Then it decided to go from high 60's to a chance of snow so we are skipping that one.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I sure you Six Flag celebration is going to be a blast!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your anniversary and Sea World. For me I will be flying home this weekend. Hard to leave those grand babies but time to get back to my world.

ReplyDeleteOh that's a sweet photo of you and Natalie! You guys always visit awesome themepark, am jealous!
ReplyDeleteI would hate to have to wait to see the new Star Wars movie. I bought our tickets as soon as they went on sale. It is our tradition to always go to opening night.
ReplyDeleteMissing the start of the star wars movie can really be difficult especially when every body knows what happened already. Looking forward to the next episode.

ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary to you and your husband! Yes, it's okay to relax once in a while. Enjoy life! ♥
ReplyDeleteThat time at Sea World looks like it was so much fun. My kids would love to go to something like this.
ReplyDeleteI am kind of bummed about the star wars movie. My husband gets to go opening day with his office so he is going to see it without me!
ReplyDeleteI would have laughed hysterically if my kids asked me to sew them costumes. That's what Amazon is for, silly! And as for Star Wars....I CAN'T WAIT!
ReplyDeleteWe totally went to Six Flags this weekend for the Holiday in the Park and had an amazeballs time.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if your posts are tongue in cheek, but BB totally loves this. Nice to see a real side of parenting, which perfection and always being polite is not! BB2U
ReplyDeleteI'll have to try and do this too. I really need to think about things I am "okay" with instead of being stressed out about things I'm not okay with so much. It might help my stress levels!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! We celebrated ours with our daughter as well but as you said, that's OK!
ReplyDeleteI have to go back here and let my cousin know about your plans. They will be celebrating their anniversary and thinking of what to do. Currently they a have a little toddler so I suggest to her why not do the same on their celebration.
ReplyDeleteI really love the last photo! You both look super cute! Happy Anniversary! I'm sure you will have an amazing time at Six Flags!
