I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
Hey, It's Okay....
....to have given an honest review of a Fingerlings monkey here. (I was curious if they lived up to the hype.)
....to need to start wrapping presents. I've wrapped like two.
....to think it's funny that there's all sorts of articles out there giving a present amount parents should give kids. Some say just stick to 3. Others say 1. I'm like, "Sorry, did you give birth to my kids? No? I'll give however many I want, thanks."
....to have gone to the local Christmas lights drive thru place. I always love checking out lights.
....to think it was funny that Tom was happy with the shocker outcome in The Walking Dead. (I won't spoil it. But if you watch, you'll know what I mean.)
.....to have enjoyed my anniversary with my husband. We went to Chuy's and then went to Six Flags to check out the Christmas lights.

ReplyDeleteNow I am curious as to what the shocker ending is in the walking dead. I am yet to even buy presents for my family later on wrap them lol
ReplyDeletei love the Christmas tree.
ReplyDeleteI love the concept of linking and building a story here about all the things we are okay about. Fun to read :)
ReplyDeleteYou still have time to wrap. Christmas isn't for almost 2 more weeks and if you don't get to it, there is always gift bags.
ReplyDeleteI have got to start wrapping presents. I can't walk in the guest room because of all the boxes and now I can't remember what I bought for who. I need to get busy!
ReplyDeleteWe still need to check out all the local christmas lights with a drive around one evening. Couple more things and I am done shopping for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThe lights and the tree are so beautiful, need to put up my tree.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch the walking dead and I know what you're talking about! lol.
ReplyDeleteI just wrapped yesterday as much as I could while the kids were in school. This month is flying by!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your musing about your life. I agree re the present blogs
ReplyDeleteGah! I can't wait to go drive through a road with a whole bunch of XMAS lights!!!!! With the weather being pretty dang warm here in LA, it's hard to believe that it's actually the holiday season!
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't be Christmas without driving through the tunnel of lights at the neighborhood park. This year the lights didn't seem to thrill the kids so much. They're getting older and I know they ONLY go because I like it so much but hey, that's okay.
ReplyDelete"Did you give birth to my kids" :'D This was hilarious! I think I enjoy this pattern of Hey its okay !
ReplyDeleteI SOOO Need to wrap gifts! I am usually way ahead of the ballgame and this year I am SO far behind I don't know if I will catch up!
ReplyDeleteI love your 'It's Okay' posts! We were away on vacation for 10 days and I have no gifts, nothing wrapped, and no tree! I'm not feeling okay about that though! haha
ReplyDeleteI finished wrapping today. Just need to stick bows on them and pick up a few more stocking stuffers.
ReplyDeletewhen i started to read i was like what the... but it is really smart written. you should've do it longer :)

ReplyDeleteThis is a great post :D... Well I gotta wrap gifts and have some more shopping to do this weekend... :)
ReplyDeleteI was just wonder about Fingerlings and whether they were really that cool... off to read that post!
ReplyDeleteWe have a drive thru light place here in Ohio too. It was so much fun, but a little too pricey this year at $25 we may skip next year
ReplyDeleteI'm not done shopping for gifts, let alone wrapping everything. I still need to go get gifts for all the kids in the family!
ReplyDeleteI just do not see what all the hype is for Fingerlings. I need to start wrapping my gifts. I bought all the paper and tape but have not started yet.
ReplyDeleteLucky you to have wrapped two gifts already. I still haven't wrapped a single one. The Christmas Season is such a busy phase for me.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely light up every time I see Christmas lights. When I get married (if I do), I want strings of lights everywhere. Beautiful tree.
ReplyDeleteWith the exception of presents that need to be shipped, I have barely wrapped anything.
ReplyDeleteI've wrapped...nothing. I really wait for wrapping until like 2 nights before. I drive around to see the christmas lights too!
ReplyDeleteI haven't wrapped anything yet and have also never fully understood why people limit gifts with a number. I bet the amusement park looked festive.
ReplyDeleteI wrapped most of the gifts I bought for my kids and husband. They are under the tree. It's okay to be early!
ReplyDeleteThose Christmas lights are sooo pretty. I can't wait to get out and see some lights this year.
ReplyDeleteMy kids really like their fingerlings, but I can't figure out how they got the 40 number for the package. I am done shopping but not wrapping yet.
ReplyDeleteOh I love the idea of making a list of Hey its okay. I def agree on deciding on how many presents you want to give your child.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I have a problem with my SIL every year telling how many gifts to buy my son. Phft, like you said, he's mine, I'll get him however many I want. I love spoiling him for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI purchased all of the Walking Dead seasons so far but haven't watched the last 8 on Season 8 yet. Now I have to lol. Don't feel bad about the presents, I haven't wrapped any.
ReplyDeleteI am crazy when it comes to Christmas. My kids are almost grown and I still buy them a gazillion gifts!
ReplyDeleteI want to do our Six Flags lights so badly but it's painfully cold here right now! Like.. 10 degrees.
ReplyDeleteSo with you... I totally need to get some more presents wrapped!
