I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
Hey, It's Okay....
....to be excited that they opened a Carlo's Bakery in San Antonio! I've watched a few episodes of Cake Boss on TLC, so I know the baked goods are pretty incredible. I'm waiting to go when the crowds calm down. I also plan to check out the Italian restaurant Buddy V's, which is apparently is right by the bakery.
....to be watching the new Roseanne reboot! It looks hilarious. Apparently some people are offended since the real Roseanne, plus the character Roseanne is a Trump supporter. Look, I'm not a fan of him, but I won't refuse to watch a show because someone has different political views than I do.
.....to be going to Sea World this weekend for an Easter Egg Hunt.
.....to be headed to my parents' house for Easter dinner. I'm in charge of the green bean casserole and Tom makes the deviled eggs.
.....to be taking Natalie shopping on Friday since she doesn't have school. It's apparently Easter break that day. We're going to Panera Bread and Target. Plus Claire's. And Five Below.
....to have made this and it's so accurate for my marriage:

Have great time at Easter egg hunt. Hope your green beans will be delish, and now I want deviled eggs as well. I like them, but don't make them very often.
ReplyDeleteSeaWorld sounds fun for an Easter egg hunt. Visiting family and having wonderful food is what it is all about this weekend. Have a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteI am SO excited about the fact that Roseanne is coming back. This new trend of reviving all of our favorite old shows is AWESOME.
ReplyDeleteI agree that you can still watch your favorite TV show even if you have different political views with the actor/actress in it. It's a free world and everyone's entitled to their choice. It's also nice that you're all set for an Easter at your parents house. It's always better to spend it with the family.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter love watching cake boss show on TV. Must be exciting to have one in your area.
ReplyDeleteSounds like some great Easter plans. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI loved watching my boys join in Easter egg hunts when they were little. Hubby mentioned he may check out the Roseanne reboot.
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait for Roseanne to come back. I was such a huge fan, but a lot of reboots I've been excited for have let me down. Hoping this one isn't the case too - Jeanine

ReplyDeleteThese are fun... It's like a gratitude journal in a way. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves of the simple things in life that bring us joy.
ReplyDeleteYour Easter dinner sounds so good! So does an Easter Egg Hunt at Sea World! Carlos' Bakery is from out where I'm from, so this is exciting!
