Hey, It's Okay....
....to be back from the beach! I went with my husband, kids, and mom. It's always nice to be near the water.
....to be booking tickets for my daughter and I to see Mamma Mia 2 on Friday. We love the first movie!
....to have done a lot while away over the weekend. Obviously I was on the beach, but I also explored the USS Lexington which is an aircraft carrier, plus checked out the Texas State Aquarium. I also pigged out on some tasty food.
....to be the only one in the family who doesn't like seafood. Everyone else got some fresh shrimp and such and I happily pigged out on fries and burgers.
....to think these drip castles my son made while we were at the beach are so neat:

I don't mind seafood but it's definitely not my favorite at all.

ReplyDeleteI do like the drip castles. Fun for all of you going to the beach. I like seafood but only once or twice a year. My husband could eat it weekly.

ReplyDeleteFamily time at the beach is the best. We just had a wonderful family time at the beach this Sunday in Virginia! I'm glad you enjoyed it with yours! Time flies, and before you know it, they are out of the house and on their own. :(

I love the drip castles!!! Nah on the seafood here too.. LOVE the beach, I'm happy to live near the Great Lakes, they're our own mini-oceans..

ReplyDeleteThose are some pretty neat sand / drip castles. My kids would have fun making something like that! We aren't a fan of seafood either. Makes it tough when we go somewhere coastal and everyone is raving about seafood.
