Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.





 Hey, It's Okay....



....to hope everyone going through the hurricane are safe. My heart goes out to everyone. I look at the photos and the news and I can't even imagine. You can donate to help via the Red Cross here.




....to be going to Tommy's Open House this week. The parents get to go to all the classes their child does, which means lots of walking.




....to hope Natalie does well on her first math test of the year this week. We aren't math people so it could go either way.



....to have watched the new preview for the Mary Poppins movie here. I think it looks pretty good.



....to think it's cute that my husband left me a message when he was power washing the back porch:

    Mary Poppins was the very first movie I saw in the movie theater as a child. So heartbreaking about the hurricane.

    I love that your husband something like that. My husband would also do something similar. I always worry about my kiddo in his tests. I never feel like we study enough LOL.

    I feel like I've been living under a rock because I had no idea there was a new mary poppins movie coming out! fingers crossed for Natalie! and your husband is sweet for leaving you a message like that, but I think i'd have to power wash the whole floor so its all the same color lol

    I am from South Florida and am very aware of the devastation a hurricane can bring, but yes you are right it will be ok.

    I think its so important to remember the small stuff, to stop and be grateful, and to care about those around us. It was R U Ok day recently here in Australia. Slightly different meaning behind it but still just as important.

    We have a new power washer and I have never used it. It's amazing how well they work in getting the pavement clean.
