Hey, It's Okay....
.....to have celebrated my 17th wedding anniversary. We went out the The Cheesecake Factory and got a cake from Carlo's Bakery.
.....to have survived my husband's holiday work party. I'm an introvert, so these can be tough for me. (But I did write a post on how to get through one if you're also an introvert.)
.....to have cooked a fancy meal for our anniversary. I'm kidding. I ordered pizza. My husband and I hate to cook.
.....to be going to see The Phantom of the Opera this weekend with Natalie and my Mom. My Mom actually is treating us, which is so kind of her. Natalie and I just love musicals and being with my Mom.
....to love the Honey Oat bread from The Cheesecake Factory. My kids do as well, so I made sure to bring plenty home. (It's $3.50 per loaf. So worth it though.)
I didnt know that you could order the Cheesecake bread! I will be taking advantage of that. Congratulations on your wedding anniversary as well!
ReplyDeleteThis is a cute idea. And boy do I ever have a list a mile long of things to be okay with :)
ReplyDeleteCheesecake Bread. Sounds delicious.I feel I can say it is ok to live at Christmas alone and be childish and still wise. Thank you for this, it's okay list.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 17th anniversary! That bread from the Cheesecake Factory looks delicious and I didn't know you could order it to go. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful wedding anniversary. Congratulation! Enjoy the opera and I don't like parties we have to be at.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! Our 18th is coming up this month too.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! Ours was a few months ago. We try to visit a new restaurant on our anniversary, but sometimes we head to an old favorite.
ReplyDeleteI need to visit the Cheesecake Factory as that bread looks delicious. I am a bread and butter person.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! I cannot believe you went to Cheesecake factory. Their desserts are so dangerously good. I never knew that they did a honey oat bread. Trust me $3.50 is not bad at all.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun way to celebrate your 17th Anniversary! I love your "It's okay" posts, they are great!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea you could buy the bread from Cheesecake Factory to take home. Cheesecake Factory has the best bread.
ReplyDeleteHey it is ok to be overwhelmed this holiday season and contact your sister to agree not to send anything to one another's families this year because neither of us need one more thing on our plates. Did I do this "Hey it's ok" right?
ReplyDeleteHappy 17th Anniversary!!! Such a huge milestone!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with Kimberly above. It's ok to be overwhelmed during the holidays. And one more to add: It's ok to ask for help!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary to both you! It looks like a sweet thing eating pizza with kids.
ReplyDeleteAmber, happy anniversary to you and your husband! What a treat that you'll be going to see Phantom of the Opera with your mom. I'd love to attend a theater production during the holidays. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

ReplyDeleteYou know, it's only recently I learned that the Cheesecake Factory is a real place and not just Penny's place of employment in the early Big Bang Theory, lol!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 17 years! That is awesome! Oh man, I did not need to know that you could order loaves of that bread!

ReplyDeletePizza sounds like the perfect anniversary dinner!
ReplyDeleteThat bread looks like magic. Cassidy's holiday party is next Friday and I'm a little psyched and also a little like.. "Will I survive it?" Last year got weird.
ReplyDeleteWere you able to pick up the free cheesecake they had a week ago there at the Cheesecake Factory? I read about it but didn't get to make it myself. My daughter would be jealous of getting to go see the Phantom performed. She has wanted to for years.
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of cheese cake bread. I'll definitely have to give it a try. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteFor me, celebrating anniversary is a must. Indeed such a great milestone being together. Happy Anniversary! Well, should I say I missed Cheesecake Factory as well.
ReplyDeleteHappy 17th anniversary! That definitely calls for a celebration and it's very okay that you two had fun.
ReplyDeleteI would count dinner at Cheesecake Factory as celebrating your anniversary. We are on our 13th and with kids sometimes we don't go anywhere at all. I love these posts from you!
