HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to be glad the kids are back in school. I miss them of course, but I also appreciate my quiet. I can get things done so much easier. And faster. I find I get distracted when they are around. It once took me 2 hours to watch a 30 minutes show.
.....to have seen Little Women with my kids. (Even my son! He said he loves women who he decided to go. And yup, he liked it!) The movie was good, but I prefer the Winona Ryder version. I like how it went in order, whereas the latest version skipped around times so it could be confusing. Also the actress who played Amy did not look young enough to me when she was playing herself as a teen whereas the other version had two different actresses: a younger AND an older one. Still, I enjoyed it!
......to have already bought some Valentine's Day chocolate. It won't make it until Valentine's Day.
.....to be happy I don't watch football. Judging from Facebook feeds, the game can get intense. I'd rather watch my reality shows which can also get intense. (Danielle just pulled Margaret's hair on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.)
....to love Little Debbie snacks. I had bought the Christmas Tree Cake Hugger Box and it was full of Little Debbie treats, plus this hat and scarf.
I agree with your review of Little Women. I saw it last week and I liked it. I thought they all seemed too old to be teens!
ReplyDeleteI had wanted to see that movie and it sounds good. I would agree with you on the one actress looking at the wrong age for the part. I still wanna watch it just to compare to the other movie.
ReplyDeleteI did not know that there was a Christmas cake Hugger box. That looks fun! I was wondering about Little Women, so I found your review interesting.
ReplyDeleteI miss my kids, but they need to be back in school. We actually went back last Thursday and it was good to get back into a routine.
ReplyDeleteI love the holidays and family time but it feels right when I have the house to do my work. I have to see Little Women I have not seen it yet.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely okay that the kids are back in school! Yes, I miss them; but, they need to get back to that structure. I do love some Valentine's Day chocolate! Nobody needs to know if I buy some, right? LOL
ReplyDeleteI am SO WITH YOU on football. Ugh. Is the season over yet? I'm tired of hearing about it!
ReplyDeleteMy kids had already went back to school at the end of last week, so the holiday break was over then for them. I actually really enjoyed them being home, but it's nice that they're in school as well. The holidays sure went by to quick.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited that you are still doing this! I was definitely excited that it was time for my boys to go back to school, ha ha! Also, I do enjoy football only because my family loves it and they leave me alone while I read when the game is on.
ReplyDeleteI've been keeping that movie in my too watch list every since I saw it advertised. I can't want to go and see it!
ReplyDeleteIt’s bittersweet on my kiddos go back to school as well. It is really nice to have quiet time though.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed LW as well! I have not seen the older version though, so I can’t compare. The timeline skipping around did not bother me. I may have shed a tear when the Father came home!
ReplyDeleteYes,it is okay when the kids are back in school. When the kid is around it seems I don't do anything properly and it takes much long time to complete a small task. :)
ReplyDeleteLast night some women and I talked about the kids going back to school. A routine is so important for our sanity!
ReplyDeleteApparently I am way out of the loop. I did not know about Little Women or the Little Debbie Christmas Cake Hugger Box. Now I am hungry. And I loved the Winona Ryder version so I may skip this one.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely okay to be glad that the kids are back in school. I am so glad to be back to my normal work routine and have quiet for a few hours per day lol.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure if I should see Little Women or not - but perhaps I should try and make the effort to go!
ReplyDeleteI want to see Little Women but I always wait for pay per view. To introverted for my own good. I love the Superbowl for 2 reasons 1. The food 2. The commercials in between I am reading a book or on my laptop.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay... to leave the dishes and the cleaning be after the kids go to bed every once in awhile and just have a glass of wine.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay... to send the kids to school and stay home sick while binge watching reality tv (mental health day!).
I need that Tree Hugger hat and scarf in my love! I was so tempted to buy their Valentine's snack cakes in store today.
ReplyDeleteI feel okay with the kids going back to school today too. Time apart makes the heart grow fonder after all. haha
I think my kids are nice and refreshed the next half of the school year. Glad to have some me time for sure!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing Little Women. My daughter had the older version on repeat a few years ago so it will be interesting to hear what she thinks of the reboot.
ReplyDeleteI am happy about this year. Daughter is getting married, I have alot of planning to do and looking forward to a wonderful year.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see Little Women. Glad to hear you all liked it. That's funny about the Valentine's Day chocolate...I'm the same way. I know for a fact what I bought will be finished by the weekend..lol. Wishing you a wonderful 2020.
ReplyDeleteI love holidays but its good for the children to get back to school and adjusting to the routine!Looking forward to watch the little women!
ReplyDeleteLove this idea! I still need to see Little Women. I have not seen the Winona Rider version, so I will have to check that one out too!!!
ReplyDeletei never seen Little women but I'm about to Google what that is. Enjoy having the kids away!
ReplyDeleteThat scarf and hat came with it! So cool. I love those cakes, I'm gonna go see if there are any left. Now, Little Women, haven't watched it yet.
ReplyDeleteGirl I already ate my daughter's teacher Valentine's chocolate xD but Hey! It's ok!
ReplyDeleteCan't imagine the Valentines Day is so near. I am ready for that too.
