I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
....to be in disbelief that my son is turning 18 on March 2nd. Ack! How did that happen?
.....to be picking Tommy up early from school on his birthday so we can have lunch and celebrate his birthday. He's had perfect attendance, so I don't feel guilty.
.....to have told Tommy he can pick wherever he wants to eat on his birthday. Lunch and dinner. He's all, "We can go out TWICE?" That rarely happens. And no, my kids don't ask me to cook a special meal because I burn things. Right now Tommy is saying he wants Logan's Roadhouse for lunch and McDonald's for dinner.
....to be picking up a Shamrock Shake when we go to McDonald's. I tried the new Mint Oreo McFlurry and it was tasty! The mint flavoring wasn't mixed in that well, but you could still taste the mint at least.
.....to have gone to Pass Member Appreciation Day at SeaWorld San Antonio to check out the new wooden coaster Texas Stingray. I'm too much of a wimp to go on, so my kids did it, and said it was tons of fun. We also got this beanie and cookie for being pass members (plus sunglasses):
