I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
Hey, It's Okay....
.....to be excited for Thanksgiving next week. I do love to eat. I hate that Tom won't be here to celebrate, but he'll get to Facetime with us. So it's something.
.....to currently be reading The Book Of Two Ways by Jodi Picoult. I'm loving it. Her books never disappoint.
....to have started to watch the new season of the Crown (the one with Diana.) It's almost tough to watch since you know what happens in the end. I seriously want to punch Charles in the face.
....to have NOT purchased the Playstation 5. I guess tons of people keep trying to get it, but it's sold out everywhere. It's like $499. Yikes.
.....to have found Little Debbie snacks! I was worried that the Christmas Tree Cakes might be tough to find since it was announced there might be a delay thanks to Covid, but all is well.
I'm glad you're liking The Book of Two Ways! It's so different from her norm!
ReplyDeleteI am not a video game player and neither is my son lately but that Playstation does look state of the art. Happy Thankgiving i will be having my tofurkey.
ReplyDeleteHaven't checked out The Crown yet, but I think I would feel like you - sad about what I knew was coming!

ReplyDeleteFor Thanksgiving I am very excited like you, in short, it is a party that I feel a lot and even if far from the States I carry in my heart and celebrate.
I'm not excited at all. We're not doing anything becuase of the spreading virus. I guess that's okay, too, though. That's the point of these posts.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great thanksgiving. No PS5 here either, I offered my other half one as a join Christmas / Birthday present but he said all the games he wants for now are PS4 to and the first batch often have glitches so not worth it.
ReplyDeleteCovid is delaying so many things. I just read that now pickles are in short supply.
ReplyDeleteWe are going to be celebrating Thanksgiving via zoom with the family. We can stay connected but safe at the same time
ReplyDeleteThose Christmas Tree cakes came in handy when our elves brought them last year. Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteI didn't get the new Playstation 5. I'm sure it's going to be on a lot of lists this year.
ReplyDeleteWe were literally just saying that we wanted to start watching The Crown. I watched the first season and then forgot about it.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you'll be able to Facetime with your husband for Thanksgiving! My kids like Xbox, but I don't think we'll be getting the new one this year.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the new season of the Crown, but like you, no big fan of Charles. Have a great Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful idea!
ReplyDeleteI am so very excited for Thanksgiving. I seriously can't believe that it is next week. Hope you have a wonderful time with your family. Also, now I need to go get some Christmas tree cakes!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one who refuses to purchase the Playstation 5 for my kid. I feel less guilty now. :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't buy the new PLaystation either. We have the Nintendo Switch and still having so much fun with that console.
ReplyDeleteI hope situation changes in time and Tom gets to celebrate Thanksgiving with you. I haven't watch the crown yet I'll be sure to add that to my movie playlist. I hope everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes.. The Crown new season! I was so excited about this new season. But I agree, It's hard to watch. Hope you'll have a great Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteI love those Christmas cakes as well. I found them at our local Walmart. It's nice to see they were not out here either.
ReplyDeleteI love getting some Christmas Tree Cakes. Little Debbie holds a small piece of my heart this time of year.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to watch the next season of the Crown. I hope I have time to start it this weekend. I am addicted!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, PS5 is sold out here too, I was trying to get it for my partner as well. I am excited for thanksgiving too. I hope you have an amazing one.
ReplyDeleteSooo I have YET to find those little debbie snacks... but we DO have the new playstation 5. And my kid and husband are obsessed.
ReplyDeleteI'd get the PS5 in a hearbeat if money was no object. There are some funny Insta Reels going on about it arriving...but it's been photoshopped to trick the hubby or boyfriend. Those made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay not to have PS5 yet. Well it's not yet available here. My son has his eye on it, too.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about PS5, I'll wait for it on sale and/or when it become stable, Sony has history of releasing stuff raw
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for Thanksgiving next week, I want to get in the kitchen and start baking. I'm well into the 4rd season of The Crown, but I had to stop reading that paragraph because even though I kind I know what will happen, I don't want to read all. I have a couple more episodes to watch, I can't stop!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's okay that we will not be having a traditional Thanksgiving this year. My sister has some serious medical issues and she will not be with us.
