Hey, It's Okay....
....to have had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I was missing my husband, who was deployed, but all the delicious food helped.
....to have finished the latest season of The Crown. You can't help but feel for Diana. No, she wasn't perfect, but holy crap, all she wanted was some kindness.
.....to have done Black Friday shopping online! I found some deals, so I'm happy.
....to hope porch pirates develop an itch they can never scratch. You always hear about them during teh holidays, and it just infuriates me. Go buy you own stuff!
.....to love looking at Christmas lights. We went to Sea World and all the lights were gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteI can relate about Thanksgiving as 2 of my boys are overseas with the military. One is on a ship and the other in Dubai.

I love looking at the Christmas lights with my kids. This year looking at Christmas lights are going to be extra special due to all the restrictions . I have so much respect for the Army , Navy and Air Force who sacrifice so much so that the country can be safe.
ReplyDeleteThose pesky porch pirates....I want to put junk or dog poop in boxes and just leave them on the porch for them to pick up....Great way to purge stuff I guess. We are headed out today to look at some drive thru Christmas lights.

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a pretty good Thanksgiving weekend! I was able to get some of my holiday shopping done too. I'm not sure when we'll see our older children again, but we are staying home to increase our chances of seeing them again!
