I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to hope everyone had a good Father's Day weekend. I certainly did since it was also my birthday. (Check out all the food I ate here.)
.....to have watched the season finale of The Handmaid's Tale and wanted to clap. I won't spoil it, but that person got what they deserved ;)
.....to not have bought much for the Amazon Prime Days. I do need a new vacuum though, so I'm trying to find a fabulous deal. The ones I've seen have just been meh.
.....to be taking Natalie to get her Covid vaccine this week. I let it be her choice and she feels good about it. Her brother and I are already fully vaccinated!
.....to have read The Menopause Manifesto by Dr. Jen Gunter because I'll be 40 next year and I was curious to learn more. Honestly, this book is for any woman at any age because there is so much beneficial information. Women shouldn't have to be embarrassed about their bodies and what they go through. You can buy the book here.
I have been hearing about that book. Good for Natalie for getting her vaccine! We are waiting for our youngest to be able to get it!
ReplyDeleteI have not heard of that book until now but it seems like a must. I am so glad we are all vaccinated it makes me feel safer.

ReplyDeleteI also hoped everyone in North America had a nice Father's Day. We celebrate it ona different day in Spain.
ReplyDeleteGood job holding back on Prime Day! Some people just can't control themselves LOL it's one thing to wait to purchase some items you needed and know they'll be on sale, it's another to just buy tons of stuff simply cuz they're on sale! Yikes!
ReplyDeleteWe had a wonderful Father's Day celebration at home. Finally, we had our first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine just today.
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing a lot about that book lately! but i forgot all about prime day
ReplyDeleteIt's totally okay to all those listed and that looks like a wonderful book to check out sometime.

I love this series of yours, it's a perfect reminder that I need. It is okay, sometimes I forget. I'm starting to feel like it's okay if I won't get to enjoy this summer as much...
