This is a sponsored post, but my opinions are my own.
It's never easy to say goodbye. Tons of high school graduates will be moving into college dorms this summer. My son is in college, but he's going to a community college, so he's still home for now. But I remember when I moved into a college dorm. It is certainly exciting, but a bit scary too. If you have someone in your life moving into a college dorm, a gift basket might help with the nerves.
Here's what you can put in it:
1. Biz Liquid. This helps to fight stains, and it works awesome. Look, college kids are messy. They are on their own and they might go a little crazy. Biz Liquid is known to get stains out since it contains an unique blend on enzymes which quickly dissolves stains and odors. This is a big help when they are doing their own laundry. And notice how it helps with ODORS. Sometimes college students don't smell the greatest. You can also get a $1 off here.
2. KidsNPets Spray. Okay, so the name might make a college student be like, "Huh, I'm not a kid, and pets are not allowed in dorms." But I promise you, this WORKS. I shared about the spray before here. Suppose a stain is made on the carpet in the dorm? This will help get it out! I have two cats and two kids and I use this on our carpet often.
Here's an example of a stain in the carpet:
And I used the spray and it was gone:
3. Gift Cards or cash. I mean. Yes. This will always be a win.
4. Food. This is always a hit. College students are usually ALWAYS hungry.
See? Simple! Keep the gift basket idea in mind. Do you have someone in your family moving into a college dorm?
For sure college kids are always hungry and make a lot of stains. The idea is not to give them anything too fancy and if it gets a stain then it is no biggie.
ReplyDeleteWe put a lot cleaning items and household type things in my daughters college gift baskets. She was surprised at how many she ended up actually using! lol
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea! I know of a few people that this will be perfect for.
ReplyDeleteThis product for the stains sounds perfect for my daughter. Her carpets always have kid stains.
ReplyDeletemy college kids are always happy to have all the laundry supplies gifted to them! Great idea to do a basket
ReplyDeleteFood and cleaning supplies! You really can't go wrong! Oh and I remember getting quarters for the washing machines, which was so long ago!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the ideas, stain remover spray sounds great, at least they'll know what to do in case their carpets or clothes got stained
ReplyDeleteCash and food is a must for a student! :) But I love the idea of KidsNPets Spray. I think I need it for my house too!
ReplyDeleteI agree, these are all a must-haves for them.
ReplyDeleteGreat tips, I'm sure my niece would love it if her mama would pack some for her.
ReplyDeleteThese are all great additions to a dorm gift basket. I didn't think of the stain remover but can see why that would be useful. You can never add enough food!!!!
ReplyDeleteCash and food absolutely! No one would say no that, right. Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Kids aren't going to think of the need for basic cleaning essentials so it's great that they will have them when they need them.
ReplyDeleteThese are great gift basket ideas for anyone moving into the dorm or a new apartment.
ReplyDeleteI'd honestly want to receive these myself! Well, I have my eyes on the Biz Liquid and the KidsNPets Spray.
ReplyDeleteThose do seem like great products. College students definitely need cleaning products. What a great idea.
ReplyDeletegreat idea, i gave my college bound niece a coffee maker
ReplyDeleteI would have LOVEd this gift basket in college!
ReplyDeleteWhen my kids were in college, I made sure they have all the things they would need - especially food and cash. But of course, they had to clean up after themselves, so I also made sure they had good cleaning materials and solutions. I think I could use that stain remover myself. With two dogs in the house, things can get messy sometimes.
ReplyDeleteThese are really useful things to be in Dorm. My kids are still in elementary and middle school. Sure I will be taking about sending them to college in future.
ReplyDeleteThose are must haves, for sure. My son's going to college soon so thank you for the ideas. -LYNNDEE
