This post has been compensated but my opinions are my own.
Becoming a mother can be a wonderful thing. And also a confusing thing because you don't know what's going on with your body. Suddenly you're carrying someone else and you have all sorts of hormones barreling throughout your body. It can be even more baffling to the father. I imagine sometimes they feel helpless. Maybe they even want to ask questions but feel foolish for doing so. They don't want to seem clueless.
This is why You're Going To Be A Dad is the perfect gift for dads-to-be. It is a wonderful book filled with a weekly breakdown of the entire pregnancy (it explains what the baby looks like and what certain terms mean.) This book had 9 months of research and over 50 interviews with different dads, so it wasn't something that was quickly thrown together.
I wish this had been around when my husband became a father.
I also loved how you can see thoughts from dads-to-be from all around the world so they can see they are not alone.
There's also a weekly checklist with things like "discuss with your partner if you want to learn the sex of your baby" at 20 weeks.
My husband became a father at 19 and I imagine this book would have eased his mind. We had our second child at 24 and still were confused about some things.
So seriously. If you're stumped on what to get a dad-to-be, pick up this book on Amazon! Include this book as a baby shower gift. I know I will.
