I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to have enjoyed Valentine's Day. We don't do a lot but I always like the chocolate. And the fact that the chocolate goes 50% off the next day.
.....to have not gone out to eat on Valentine's Day. Too crowded and crazy. We usually go out the following day. Less crazy.
.....to have not watched the Super Bowl. Instead I watched Gilmore Girls with my daughter. I heard the Half Time Show was good and caught some clips online. I'm amused that there are always people who say it's inappropriate.
.....to be glad Tommy is enjoying being back in person on his college campus.
.....to love this Valentine's Day Grogu. I saw him at Target a few weeks ago and didn't get him. Then I regretted it but when I went back to Target he was sold out! I told my husband and I guess he searched online and found him!
I'm hoping to find some 1/2 price chocolate today!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I did nothing yesterday as I did not want to chance going out to eat with my food allergies. I have my first allergy shots on Wednesday and my asthma has to be under control. So I cant risk accidently eating any dairy and having an asthma atack. We will go out to eat on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder about the chocolates being on sale.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Valentine's too. Me and my kids enjoyed baking sweets and giving them to friends
ReplyDeleteI did not watch super bow either and that's okay. Most of my friends did but it's okay to be the only one who did not
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your "hey its okay" posts. I find them entertaining. How nice your husband found your 'little' guy online and got him for you. How sweet.
ReplyDeleteWe went out on Sunday instead of Monday. A calmer experience to be sure! I didn't get my chocolate covered strawberries this year, though, and I am bummed.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I neither watched the Super Bowl or went out for Valentine's Day. lol. -and it is ok. We have been married for over 26 years, have no kids living at home (just a huge Great Dane) and find that most everyday feels like Valentines day minus any chocolates or flowers which I chose not to have this year. And again, hey its ok :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I never go out on the day of Valentine's instead we do takeout and enjoy one on one time at home. Our fancy dinner comes over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteOk that little Grogu is the cutest. I love the little conversation heart outfit!
ReplyDeleteOk I love Groguso cute! I didn't do much for Valentise day and watching Gilmore Girls sounds like a solid plan
ReplyDeleteDidn't had chocolates on Valentine's Day... But been eating chocolate the whole year round... LOL Grogu is the cutest!
ReplyDeleteLOL I love this idea, my husband and I of chocolates each and binge watched old reruns of LOVE BOAT....bahahaha
ReplyDeleteI only watched the first part of the game then the half time show. Watched J-Los new movie Marry Me after that!
ReplyDeleteI agree, it is way too crowded on Valentine's Day to really enjoy anything out and about. It is nice to stay home, eat takeout, and watch a movie on the couch!
