HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to have enjoyed Mother's Day. I had Chuy's for lunch and then I read a lot.
.....to currently be reading The School For Good Mothers by Jessamine Chan. If you want a book that makes you go "wtf?" multiple times, read this. It's well written but man is it nuts. It's about Frida, who leaves her toddler home alone because she's having a "very bad day." CPS finds out and Frida is sent to a school where she'll learn to be a good mother. The school is....insane. (This is where lots of WTF mutterings will occur..) Will Frida pass the school and regain custody? Or will her ex husband and his new wife gain full custody? I finished this book in 3 days. Again, it's mind boggling.
.....to be getting tickets to see Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness this weekend. I've already read some spoilers and it looks like it'll be an intense movie.
....to be proud of Tommy for finishing another semester of college! He has one year left of community college and then he'll be transferring to a 4 year college.
