I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
......to not be a fan of the cold snap that came through. Evenings have been dropping to the high 30s and 40s and some highs are in the 50s. This is considered warm in some parts of the country. When I lived in Wyoming, the 50s was glorious. But when your body is used to the 70s and 80s and it suddenly drops, it's a bit of a shock.
.....to be looking forward to Fall Break next week. Natalie is off all week. Tommy has college classes Monday and Tuesday and then he's off the rest of the week.
.....to be going to see the new Will Ferrel/Ryan Reynolds holiday movie Spirited. It's a twist on A Christmas Carol and looks hilarious. It also streams on Apple TV but we don't have that. Luckily it's showing in select theaters as well.
.....to have gone to SeaWorld to check out all the holiday lights for their Christmas Celebration. They were beautiful and there was snow! I mean, yes, obviously fake, but still exciting since we don't get much snow in San Antonio.
Found your blog through Dara! This is a fun link-up/post idea. I guess I didn't realize that SeaWorld gets decked out for Christmas. I mean, it make sense! How cool!

ReplyDeleteThe cold snap hit us here in New Mexico too. I too do not like cold weather.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to SeaWorld, but I bet it's lovely during the holidays.
ReplyDeleteOur temps dropped so much and it snowed today. I was so not prepared for it!

ReplyDeleteI would really love to visit Seaworld with the whole family! That sounds like a really amazing and fun movie to watch!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you guys are going through a cold snap right now… I’m still not used to the cold temps.
ReplyDeleteIt is getting colder here in MD but not too cold yet. I feel like we skipped over fall and went straight to the beginning of winter!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen snow at Sea World except where the penguins are... That's a great feature to add for the holidays, especially in places where it's hot year round.
ReplyDeleteThis cold is ridiculous! I'm not used to it at all and it came on so fast there was no getting ready for it.
ReplyDeleteJust send that cold snap our way! I miss the light snow flurries from Louisiana!
ReplyDeleteMy boys do online school and their break is next week as well. I'm ready and not ready. Where did the year go? How is it that we already in the holiday season?
ReplyDeleteWarming up here and I just turned 60 thought I would throw that in
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to see Spirited. I think it looks like a good movie. I really love holiday movies, so I can't wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteI've wanted to see Spirited ever since I heard about it. It looks very interesting. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love Fall or Spring breaks but we don't have one over here, so we are waiting for the Christmas break!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE looking at Christmas lights!!! Not a cold person but the lights make me happy
ReplyDeleteI wish that I could take my son to Sea World over the holidays. I'm looking forward to fall break and getting to spend extra time with my son. We aren't having a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner, I opted to fix ribs and that's ok. :)
ReplyDeleteWe don't get a fall break week! The kids have school Monday and Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteI’ve never been to sea world when it was fully decorated for Christmas; I’ll definitely put that on my must go list!
