I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
....to need to make sure the house is clean because my husband is finally coming home from deployment. I mean, the house isn't a dump or anything, but there are areas I should probably touch up.
.....to be proud of Tommy for being accepted into another college: UTSA. He's still waiting to hear from UT Austin but he's not expecting great news there since the acceptance rate is low. However, I tell him you never know! It could happen and if it doesn't, well, he's been accepted to two colleges which is something to be proud of.
.....to wish people would bring in their dogs if it barks for over 15 minutes. Sometimes my neighbor leaves out their small yappy dog and it barks for like an hour. How on earth are they not hearing it?
.....to love Natalie's 16th birthday dress that she picked out. She went with a Liesel dress from The Sound Of Music. You can check it out on Instagram here. It was made by a talented woman on Etsy.
.....to have picked up this Disney cereal celebrating 100 years. It's your basic sweet cereal (think Trix) but I love that it's Mickey shapes and the box is pretty as well.
That is annoying about the barking dogs. My mom used to have to call her neighbor to bring in their dog.
ReplyDeleteWe have a neighbor that leaves their dog outside all night while barks the whole time.
ReplyDeleteThe dog barking near me is also crazy. Why dog owners do this is beyond me.
ReplyDeleteThe Sound Of Music is a classic! I haven't seen it in awhile too.
ReplyDeleteI love your daughter's style. I recently saw a production of Sound of Music at my local theater. It was incredible and Liesel was my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad for Tommy! Congratulations! Two colleges is a great result! Good luck for the third college!
ReplyDeleteBig things are happening, you must be one proud mama! I love the updates!
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate where our neighbors dogs are barking specially at midnight.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Tommy for being accepted into at least two colleges! My oldest was not accepted to her first choice, but loved where she went. Natalie's dress is beautiful, how is she already 16?
ReplyDeleteAs a dog lover, I'm appalled that someone would leave their barking dog outside for so long! Not only is it annoying to the neighbors, but it just isn't fair to the dog. If the dog was happy, it wouldn't be barking.
Oh wow, Tommy is on a roll!! Loving the dress that Natalie got for her birthday, too! It certainly makes me nostalgic for The Sound of Music and in my head her duet song is already looping now.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. Will think of something to share related to It's Okay. In the mean time, may I ask where you got the Disney cereal? I would love to get some too!
ReplyDeleteYour son has done an amazing job on college and he should be proud of himself for being accepted into two colleges already. Can't wait to hear what UT Austin has to say.
