So my teen daughter was like, "Look at Party Rat!" and I was like, "What's a party rat? Is it something new in Manhattan?" because, well, NYC is known for its rats. (Wasn't there a rat eating pizza on Subway stairs one time?)
Anyhow, Natalie was like, "No, Party Rat is a plushie that this eighteen-year-old girl made," and she shoved her phone under my nose so I could see.
Party Rat was pretty cute. It turns out Party Rat was made by Brie, who owns an online shop where she creates stuffed animals. She's 18 and her shop is called bunnysplushies. You can follow her on Instagram here.
The thing is, each plushie is unique and when it's gone, it's gone. Natalie's birthday is approaching and I said it could be an early gift.
Behold Party Rat. As you can see, he's made well.
He has a hat and everything:
He is colorful with fun details, like a lacy collar:
His eyes are pretty cute as well and I love the blush spots. And look as his belly button!
Brie has other items on her site at the moment. If you're a fan of Hello Kitty, she has a Hello Kitty Cat for sale. She ships quickly. We had Party Rat in a matter of days. Brie also sent a lovely email thanking us for our purchase.
So if you want to help support a teenager, please check out Brie's shop bunnysplushies and follow her on Instagram.
That is cute and nice of you to support her.
