I had heard about Chicken Salad Chick for a while on social media and was intrigued. I'm a huge fan of chicken salad, so when I saw it had a bunch of different flavors of chicken salad, I knew I had to go. Plus they had something called grape salad that people raved about and I was like, yup, must stop in. I went to lunch with my Mom, and it was her first time as well.
It is cute inside. It's set up like you're going on a picnic, which makes sense because of the chicken salad.
I also liked the paintings. I'm assuming she's the Chicken Salad Chick.

The menu is extensive. As mentioned, there are many flavors of chicken salad from spicy, to traditional, to sweet. You can either get it in scoop form or on a sandwich. If chicken salad isn't for you, there's egg salad as well. Plus there are sides like broccoli salad, fresh fruit, and yes, the grape salad. There's also soup and pimento cheese flavors.

If you want to run into the store and out, they have Quick Chick options of their chicken salad. It's already ready to go!

Yup, there are sweets! Most orders come with a mini buttercream frosted cookie. If you want a bigger option, they have a flower, plus a chocolate marshmallow square:
All you coke fans, you're in luck: they have coke products! Plus sweet and unsweet tea and a watermelon tea option. I was also a fan of the lemonade and strawberry lemonade. Yes, I sampled it all!

My Mom ended up getting the salad with a scoop of chicken salad. I believe she went with the Fancy Nancy which is Fuji apples, seedless grapes, and pecans:
I got the Trio so I picked 2 chicken scoops and the grape salad. I picked the Kickin' Kay Lynne flavor, which was a combo of buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and sriracha. The other was Olivia's Old South with egg and pickles.

They give you lots of crackers to scoop your chicken salad with. I enjoyed both of my flavors!
So was the grape salad everything I hoped it would be? Yes! It's apparently made with a cream cheese mixture, pecans, and brown sugar. If you wanted, you could just get grape salad. Some people do this but I think I'd always want the chicken salad as well:
Will I go back? Of course! There are other chicken salad flavors I must try. Plus I might get it in sandwich form at some point.

ReplyDeleteWe finally tried it out today, and oh my goodness, it was such a treat. The whole picnic setup inside was adorable, and those paintings totally had me smiling. Plus, can we talk about the menu?! So many yummy options!
