I always love when my son comes home from college. I miss him. Whenever he does visit, I always have a bag (or two) of goodies to give him. You can save on goodies when you check out BJ's Club Membership Deals & Coupons!
The bag is mostly full of food, with other items sprinkled in.
For example, Tommy loves Reese's Thins, so he got that:
Plus some easy microwavable meals since he has a microwave in his room:
He also got chocolate for those rough days:
There's also shampoo, deodorant, hand soap, and toothpaste. I always hope those boys are using the hand soap after using the bathroom. Please. Please. Please.
I also included a plunger, because Tommy is in a suite with 3 other boys. Enough said.
I also found him a Halloween shirt at Five Below:
Finally, since Tommy is doing so well in college, I got him the new Super Mario Bros Wonder game. It came with trading cards since I preordered. I was going to wait until Christmas, but he is truly such a great kid:
He'll be coming back for Thanksgiving Break and yup, he'll have another bag.
I can't wait to see him again.
Such a great idea! Our oldest is in college & we can't wait to see them for Winter break. They are many states away so I make sure to have their favorite foods when they come home for breaks.
ReplyDeleteA cool looking gift bag with cool gifts, children going off to college isn't something I have had to deal with
ReplyDeleteTommy is a very lucky boy! Some really cool things in that bag!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a gift bag for college kiddos! What a fun way to still be Mama and have some fun, too! I would totally give gift bags if my kids opted to do the college route - but one is moved out so now I just buy random things and ship them to their house for fun throughout the year so they get fun mail instead of just bills.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. This would also be great for holiday gifts.
ReplyDeleteThese items were perfect for a college kid care package/gift bag!
