I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to be glad that Natalie enjoyed the Five Nights At Freddy's movie. She thought it was well done.
.....to hope everyone has a fun Halloween. Natalie is still going trick-or-treating with friends. The plan was for her to be Pennywise, but she has tons of costumes in her closet, so it could change. Tommy might even wear one of his anime costumes on his campus.
.....to be sad that Matthew Perry (aka Chandler from Friends) died. Apparently it was from an accidental drowning in his hot tub. When I first saw the article online I thought it had to be fake, but sadly, no. Friends is one of my favorite shows so this one hurt.
......to not appreciate this cold front that's happening. It's in the 40s which is warm to some people, but not to the ones living in Texas where it has been in the 80s with humidity. So this is a shock to the system. It'll eventually warm back to the 70s at least.
......to hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween and hey, if you want to decorate for Christmas, you do you! Don't worry about what others say.
I thought it was fake too when I heard about Matthew Perry.
ReplyDeleteWe also really enjoyed the FNAF movie & thought it was well done! The news about Mathew Perry is so sad. I personally was not a big Friends fan but he did the voice of a big character in one of my favorite video games, Fallout New Vegas. "Ring a ding ding, baby"
ReplyDeleteYes, the Matthew Perry news is so sad! I loved Friends and I was in disbelief at first too.
ReplyDeleteMy plans for Halloween is at my church trunk or treat event. My car is a mermaid theme.
ReplyDeleteI've been learning more about Mathew after his death. How sad to have such a sudden unexpected death, no matter who you are. I forgot how much I used to love reading your Hey It's Okay posts! This is a good one.
ReplyDeleteI am loving the cooler weather. I'm in Fort Worth. Though I am not looking forward to bad winter storms. I don't drive on ice and now that I have a job, I'll probably have to go in. :(
ReplyDeleteThe Matthew Perry news shocked me as a fan of FRIENDS. Hurt me to the core.
ReplyDeleteI'm delighted that Natalie enjoyed the Five Nights At Freddy's movie, and I hope she has a fantastic time trick-or-treating on Halloween. I was equally saddened to hear about Matthew Perry's passing. Friends holds a special place in our hearts, and Chandler's humor brought so much joy. His loss is deeply felt.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sad about Matthew Perry too and I also hate the cold! Loved reading this!
ReplyDeleteI am so sad for Matthew Perry! He was too young to go away! Such a pity!
ReplyDeleteI just posted about feeling sad because my son stopped trick or treating at the age of 12 because people looked at him weird for being tall! Thank you for encouraging your daughter to go as long as she wants!
ReplyDeleteAfter what happened with the cold fronts last year, I can't blame you!
ReplyDeleteMy kids also wanted to see Five Nights at Freddy's. Nice to know it was teen-approved!
ReplyDeleteWas saddened to read about Matthew Perry's death. Another person gone too young.
