Sometimes I see these gift guides that say they're for teens and it's obvious a teen had no part in picking anything out. My teen daughter can be quite picky so I make sure she actually approves of something before purchasing it. I will sometimes think, oh, she'd look precious in this sweater and when I show it to her she's like "ugh." So yeah. Always make sure a teen actually likes before you buy.
(And as I've always stated in my gift guides, if all else fails, GIFT CARDS. Yes, they can be boring, but teens love them.)
(So do I)
Anyway.
Target is a fave store of my daughter and I. She showed me some things she liked starting off with this micro purse. They came in a variety of colors. Her faves were the silver and red. These are $15, but wait, because Target generally will have a 30% off all accessories sale:
I believe this was also $15 and it was a gorgeous makeup case:
This rhinestone hair clip was about $5 and there were also different colors:
This initial set was $15. Natalie saw the movie Priscilla and Priscilla wears a heart choker and this reminder her of that:
There was a different version of the initial necklace as well. I think it might have been $10:
This heart choker was $8:
This necklace was $20. Natalie liked that it was unique:
Target had a bunch of these heart travel makeup cases in a variety of colors for only $8. Natalie liked the white the best:
She was a fan of this dress as well:
And okay, these sugar cookies weren't anything she picked out, but I loved them because it's Bullseye the Target dog! These would be perfect for Target fans but they were at an annoying price of $11.99. You do get a reusable tin I suppose, but I wish they were like $5 or something. Ahh well. Still cute!
Also, Target will price match if you end up buying something and it goes on sale. They'll give you back the difference. You just need to go to customer service or chat online. I've done this multiple times without any issues. If you have the app, they can easily look up your purchases and if they see something went on sale, the money goes back on your card or you'll get it in the form of a gift card. I think this goes on until December 24th.
Have you started your holiday shopping yet?
