We've always loved the movie Cars. When my son was small, he was obsessed with Lightning McQueen. We had a lot of the toy cars from the movie and actually, we still do. It hurt my heart too much to give them away so they all sit in his closet.
Anyhow, Natalie's boyfriend likes the movie Cars and on Valentine's Day she wanted to give him a Lightning McQueen inspired bouquet.
To do this, she went to Michaels and bought a bouquet of yellow and red flowers because those are Lightning McQueen's colors.
Then she drew a road and cut it out. She hot glued that to the bouquet.
She found a Lightning McQueen toy and hot glued that on. If you need one, Amazon has it for under $10 here.
Finally, she wrapped the bouquet with a piece of construction paper and taped it around:
She said it wasn't difficult to make, so if you have a Cars fan in your life, surprise them with this bouquet.
Ha, that certainly is a Lightening McQueen bouquet. I love how Natalie thought that up. What a clever and different idea. I'm sure her boyfriend loved the bouquet. It is something that could make a great keepsake.
