Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

HEY, IT'S OKAY....

.....to have gone to Mardi Gras at Sea World and had a blast. There's music, there's dancing, and there's beignets!

......to have not watched The Grammys but my daughter let me know she's miffed that Billie Eilish didn't win.

.....to be skipping the Super Bowl this weekend. I am not into football. I'll be watching Real Housewives of OC instead. I am behind in episodes. Dorit has an attitude this year and Kyle is like "whaaaaaattt?" It's more entertaining than any sport will be, I promise!  I will catch the Super Bowl commercial highlights on TikTok.

.....to currently be reading The Boyfriend by Freida McFadden. It's about Sydney, who thinks her new boyfriend Tom is perfect. He's a doctor and is everything she's been looking for. But women in the area keep getting murdered and Sydney is starting to worry. Is her boyfriend as perfect as he seems? I am nearly done with this book and yikes, it'll keep you hooked.

.....to have had to get this sticker because it is so true these days.

  2. I love the sticker! This is a great concept to write about things that are ok. Once I went to Mardi Gras at Disney World, that was about 30 years ago! I was able to do the real thing about 8 years ago with my husband.

  3. It has been a while since I watch the Super Bowl. I always go shopping during the game.

  4. Sometimes you just need a little reminder that it’s okay to do things your way. Skipping the Super Bowl for Real Housewives sounds like a solid choice—drama, fashion, and over-the-top reactions are way more entertaining than football (at least for me!).

  6. I am also not into the Super Bowl. There's plenty else to do. I'll have to check out Frieda McFadden - I've been hearing a lot about her books.
