I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
......to be glad that my daughter had the best time at her senior prom. If you didn't catch it, she wore the same dress I wore to my senior prom.
.....to be excited to see my mom for Mother's Day weekend. We're going to have a Mother's Day brunch with her.
......to hope teachers get all the recognition they deserve during Teacher Appreciate Week. I know Natalie's school is offering different things during the week. I told her to also thank her teachers.
.....to also be excited that Tommy is coming home for the weekend to celebrate. He's my present!
.....to love that Natalie wore flats to prom. We cannot walk in heels properly. We teeter. We stumble into things. And people. It's just safer that we remain in flats. For us. And for those around us.
I just ADORE that she wore your dress - & FLATS! I've never been good in heels - EVER - those shoes are PERFECT for the dress. Did she find those or have them made?
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so similar to my week. My son had a great time at prom and my boys school is also having teacher appreciation week
ReplyDeleteI totally relate to the excitement of Mother’s Day plans and the joy of seeing our kids enjoy special moments like prom. I love that your daughter wore your prom dress—what a sweet full-circle moment! And yes to flats… always the safer (and smarter!) choice in my book too!
ReplyDeleteI love that she wore that dress to her prom. That is so special. She looks amazing in it too! The shoes really add to the dress as well.
ReplyDeleteits so nice she wore your prom dress! i cant walk in heels either, even if i wanted to my feet say no thank you haha!
ReplyDeleteI only wear high heels on special occasions and very rare, so I'm with you on being comfy with flats. ;) Thanks for the reminder on Teacher Appreciation Week
