Scary New Halloween Decor

Spooky season is here!

Now, I know people will be like, "Um, but it's August."

But Walt Disney World has already started their Halloween parties. And stores are bringing out their Halloween decor. So. It's Spooky season.

I've already discovered some cool items.

Lowe's already has their Halloween section up. They have the neatest animatronics and Try Me buttons out so you can see how they work. Now, I know the employees probably hate constantly hearing the moans and groans and the satanic laughs, but sorry, I love a Try Me button.

I discovered a Hocus Pocus blind bag and got Emily Binx. I was hoping for one of the witches or Jay & Ice, but it's okay. Emily is cool. Who can resist her saying, "Thackery Binx, what took thee so long?"

Oveer at Five Below, they were just putting out their Halloween goodies, and I was drawn to this pink skeleton for $5.55. (Yes, I am annoyed that hardly anything is under $5 there now. But ah well.)  We named her Mrs. Pinky Bones.

My daughter is obsessed with Five Nights At Freddy's, so she was excited to see blow molds of the characters at Walmart. Bonnie is her fave, so we picked him up. (Yup, Bonnie is a HE.)

Buc-ees is the coolest pit stop that is open in several different states. They not only have the cleanest bathrooms, but the tastiest snacks & drinks...and yup, their Halloween items are out! This tumbler was fabulous. They also had shirts, toys, and costumes.

Sometimes I get lucky and arrive at Target when they have a full dollar spot. It's are though. Most of the time I get the leftovers that no one wants or a cool item is left, but it's broken. This time the spots were mostly bare, but look! We found this cute Tiny Ghost for only $1!

More stores are starting to put out their Halloween stuff, so it'll be fun to see what they have. Even if I don't buy anything, it's always exciting to see.

Have you bought any Halloween decor yet?

  3. I love how you’re embracing "spooky season" with full enthusiasm, even in mid-August, hunting down quirky finds like the Hocus Pocus blind bag and naming your new pink skeleton “Mrs. Pinky Bones” gives the post such playful charm.

  6. Yup, I’ve seen many stores with Halloween merchandise already! lol. Christmas is even worse I think! Right after Halloween the merchandise and decorations for Christmas come and you see a lot of commercials! lol. I don’t hate it though! I love Christmas! But we’re talking about Halloween right now! lol. I have a family member who dressed up as the cutest witch for Halloween when she was a little girl! I once dressed up as a flapper and red riding hood! Fun times!

  7. Yes to autumnal decor and spook-tacular Halloween decorations! My daughter is a fan of Five Nights At Freddy's too, so I'll have to check out our local Walmart.
