I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to have had the best weekend with my mom and daughter. We went to the Paul McCartney concert and it was fabulous. Tommy went to go see Avatar: The Last Airbender 20th Anniversary Concert at the same time and enjoyed it.
......to be having a quiet Halloween. Both kids are in college so days of taking them out trick or treating are over.
.....to have started to watch Yellowjackets and holy crap, that is a wild show. Basic plot is a group of high school soccer players on the way to Nationals crashes in an airplane and have to fight to survive. There's all sorts of craziness going on.
.....to not be looking forward to the time change this weekend. I do not like it being dark at 5.
.....to be excited about It: Welcome To Derry. It's on HBO Max on Sundays and it's set in the 60s. Remember how Pennywise returns every 20 years so the premise of the show is to go back 20 years each season. So next season it'll be set in the 40s. My daughter dressed as Pennywise one year for Halloween:

I'm also not thrilled about the time change this weekend. Like you, I don't like that it gets dark at 5 p.m. plus it always takes me several days to get used to the time change!

ReplyDeleteOHHHH, I bet the Avatar: The Last Airbender 20th Anniversary Concert was amazing! I'd love to hear more about that! My oldest keeps telling me to start Yellowjackets & has said it's wild too.
ReplyDeleteI am down to my last child at home and he is having friends over on Halloween. My husband and I will be at our church Trunk or Treat event,
ReplyDeleteI have not seen Yellowjackets before but I have heard good things. It does sounds like it has a good storyline and something I should watch.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool and always love these posts of yours. I have to check out that new show on HBO and I also liked the Yellowjackets but kinda stopped watching midway through season 2. I will ahve to get back into it.
ReplyDeleteI am not looking forward to the time change either. I love going to concerts with my daughter too, it is nice to have those memories together.
