Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

HEY, IT'S OKAY....

......to be happy my kids are home for Spring Break. We're just hanging around the area.

......to be throwing a birthday party for Natalie this weekend. Her real birthday is the 19th, and she has classes, so it's easier to have it over the weekend. She invited a bunch of friends over. She's doing a "kid" birthday, so she'll have bubbles and sidewalk chalk and other activities that she did as a child.

.......to have ordered Tommy's college graduation gown. Ack! I can't believe it's almost time.

.......to hope we don't lose power from the storms that are going to be rolling through this week. Sometimes it happens. Luckily I do have flashlights!

......to have tried these mini empanadas from Taco Bell. They come in a pack of 2 and you'll get a chocolate and caramel one. I preferred the caramel--the chocolate had an odd taste. These are available for a limited time if you want to try!

  1. This was such a fun and relatable “Hey, It’s Okay” post! It’s always nice to appreciate the little everyday moments, like enjoying Spring Break with the kids or planning a special birthday celebration. Natalie’s “kid-style” birthday party with bubbles and sidewalk chalk sounds like a creative and nostalgic idea. It must also feel exciting and emotional to be preparing for Tommy’s college graduation what a big milestone! Hopefully the storms pass without causing any power outages. And those mini empanadas from Taco Bell sound interesting now I’m curious to try the caramel one too.777Sz game Download

  2. I always love your hey, it's okay posts. The time really does fly. My son is about to leave the army after 8 years, and it seems like he just enlisted yesterday.

  4. Sorry, my comment posted before I finished. LOL! I can’t believe Tommy is about to graduate, how time flies. I’m sure you must be excited to have them both home for Spring Break. I always enjoy reading your “Hey, It’s Okay” posts. For me, nothing too exciting is happening right now, just trying to keep my head up but that’s okay too.

  5. Thank you for writing something so honest and reassuring. It really hit the right note for anyone who’s ever felt overwhelmed or stuck. I love how you remind readers that it’s okay to struggle sometimes and that self‑compassion is such a powerful part of healing and growth. Posts like this are the kind that stay with you long after you’ve read them.

  7. We all need to be reminded occasionally that it's acceptable to take a moment to relax and slow down. It is quite common for life to rarely proceed in perfect order. Even academic paper editors are aware that success requires perseverance, introspection, and the occasional error—all of which are frequently the small steps that lead to significant advancement and development.
