I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
......to have gone and seen Scary Movie 6. Some people said it wasn't funny at all, but I laughed. Scary Movie 2 is still my favorite though.
.....to be proud of Natalie for passing all her lifeguard tests. She had to do some crazy swim tests, plus written tests, and she made it through!
......to be proud of the Spurs for winning Game 3 of the NBA finals against the Knicks. They are still down by 2, but I think they can pull off the win.
.......to hope the kids have fun watching Backrooms. I did not have the urge to sit through that, but they know all the lore and such, so they are watching the movie this week.
.....to love this bag from HEB. I had to pick it up because it's so true.

I love this idea! That said, I can't wait to see the new Scary Movie - they've given me so many belly laughs over the years, I hope this one is great, too.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Congrats to Natalie on passing all the lifeguarding tests! Woohoo!
We saw Scary Movie 6, and I loved it. Was it the best in the franchise? Absolutely not. Was it entertaining and worth the money? Yes!
ReplyDeleteThe bag is SO AWESOME! I grew up in the South, and I absolutely despise homophobia. All my hyper-religious family and friends missed the "love your neighbor as you love yourself" commandment, I guess...
ReplyDeleteI love this!! I would also love to share somethings that I'm proud of and happy about when I get the chance.
ReplyDeleteFunny enough I have never watched any part of the scary movie, I don't even know why.
Congrats to Natalie passing her lifeguard tests. This sounds like a fun job.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Natalie on passing her lifeguard tests! Those swim and written requirements are no joke. And I love the format of this post; it's such a cheerful way to take stock of the small wins and things that are just fine as they are.
ReplyDeleteI truly needed to read your comforting words today because giving myself permission to just breathe is so tough.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely okay to be proud of your kids' accomplishments! Congratulations to Natalie for passing all of her lifeguard tests. That takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and confidence in the water.
ReplyDeleteYour 'Hey, It’s Okay' post feels refreshingly honest, validating everyday struggles while encouraging self-compassion and emotional resilience.
ReplyDeleteI love how you integrate your idea to those phrases and in the visual
ReplyDeleteI love your blog post. It feels honest and comforting, gently reminding readers that everyday struggles are completely valid.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your daughter for passing her lifeguard tests. I haven't seen any of the Scary Movies. I should watch at least one of them!
ReplyDeleteI love the colorful logo on the tote bag and meaning behind it! The ads for Scary Movie 6 look hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI’m happy more people are coming around about Scary Movie 6. I’d hate the franchise to die on a bad note. Also that bag! Flipping love it.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Natalie and I love the bag too. Scary movies don't interest me because I dont like to be frightened even for entertainment. Lol, yeah, sorry, the Knicks won. Elizabeth F
ReplyDeleteWay to go Natalie. Being a life guard is a tough job compared to most first time jobs. But it is also rewarding knowing you’re making sure families stay safe while swimming.
ReplyDeleteI haven’t seen some of the newer scary movies. Guess I’ll have to do a scary movie binge watching session.
