It was on the 19th, and delicious food was supplied.
There was also a fancy cocktail from The Melting Pot. I went out to eat with my Mom and kids the night before. Going to The Melting Pot on a Thursday is less chaotic than going on a Friday.
On my actual birthday, Tommy left me a special balloon. He also made me a video.
Lunch was at Castroville BBQ where I indulged in brisket and sausage. If you are ever in Castroville, stop in. Everything is scrumptious.
And what about dinner? Well. Taco Bell. Duh. I don't know how anyone can disparage Taco Bell. It's delicious. It's..well, I was going to say cheap, but it's not as cheap as it once was. I remember getting a Bean Burrito for .99 and now it's $2.99. What?! But I do have their app, and at least I earn free food.
And then Natalie dressed as Westley in The Princess Bride and sang Storybook Love from the movie. She self-taught herself and did an incredible job. (You can see her singing it here.)
It truly was a wonderful day. I truly felt loved and appreciated.
If you'll excuse me, I'm off to have a slice of leftover birthday cake for breakfast.
