  2. Is it in her hair too? I'm just looking at they and rubbing my scalp. At least she *was* quiet and happy, right?

  3. LOL! Hope it wasn't tangled in her hair!

  5. Funny.....my kids done the same thing with their slinky. We went to a birthday party this past weekend and in the goody bag they each had a slinky. Before we could even get home good, they looked the same exact way in their car seats.

  6. How long was she with it bc I think I remember doing the same thing after becoming a bit bored with a slinky when I was younger.

  8. Just like every Slinky that's ever entered our household. We're like a Slinky house of horrors.

  9. At least she's happy - she could be furious that the slinky doesn't work anymore.

  11. My daughter did that. Then tantrummed when it didn't go back to it's original shape. Good times!

  18. Yowch! I think I used to destroy all slinkies too when I was little.

  19. Wow, what a mess. I never liked slinkies. I would always end up getting them bent or kinked and wanting to throw it across the room.

  21. I love that you stopped by my silly blog and told me about your adoration of Bazooka gum! If you hadn't, I wouldn't have seen that adorable picture of that tangled Slinky and that precious girl. Your blog seems like such a fun place! I'm definitely following you now. :)

  22. LOL!!! At first I read "This is what happens when you leave a 3 year old with a STINKY!" I was like, "She doesn't look like she's stinky?" Slinky! Got it! Well, she looks like she's having fun! Much more than she would have had with a STINKY!

  23. That's what slinkies are for. It's just irresistible.

  24. That is hilarious. We've gone through several Slinkys for the exact same reason with my three year old son! :)

  25. Oh Lord, I hope she didn't get it wrapped in her hair. That could be painful. Was she trying to make it walk down the stairs?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yeah, right. There's a hook behind her and you did the knot work. Fess up. (Or am I the only one who restrains her kid with Slinkies?)

  27. if it bought you time... it was worth the slinky damage... i think of slinkys as disposable items..

  28. HA! I remember those things and I remember that happening to me as a kid a few times. Too funny.

  29. Haha! My daughter stretched hers out using it as a "leash" for my son, AKA the dog at the moment.
