A Hole In My Pants

For starters, what do you think of my new blog look? No, I did not do it. Most of my readers know that I’m HTML dumb. It was done by Brea, over at Utterly Chaotic Designs. She did a fantastic job, huh? She was incredibly patient with all of my questions and her price is extremely fair. She even does a military discount. So if you’re looking for a new blog look, I recommend Brea all the way.

And now onto the new post.

That would be a hole.

Near the crotch of my jeans.

Did I notice the hole when I was out in public?

No. Of course not.

Did others notice the hole when I was out in public?

Probably. Knowing my luck.

I mean, people were staring at me funny when I was at Wal-Mart. But I figured it was because it was Wal-Mart. The store of weird. Shoppers might have been looking for potential victims to submit to People of Walmart. (Oh my God. What if I’m on People of Walmart??!! If you see me, I swear, I didn’t do this on purpose! I didn’t know about the hole! I have some dignity.)

I had the hole in my pants as I dropped Natalie off at school. AND picked her up.

It wasn’t until my day was over when I was like, “Why can I see my flowered underwear?” (Thank goodness I wear underwear and don't pull a Britney/Lindsey/Kristen/etc and go commando..)

I guess if other people saw the hole, it would be awkward for them to be like, “I’m sorry to bother you but…I can totally see your drawers..” I’m not sure if I could say that to a complete stranger. They might think I was coming onto them. Or they might think, “Why was she looking at my crotch region to begin with?!”

So yeah. I totally walked around most of the day with a hole in my pants.

And when I took the picture, I was in my car. There was a person in the car next to me who totally thought I had snapped a picture of my vagina to a lover from the look on her face.

No.

Sorry to frighten you, lady.

It was just to document the hole so I’d have a blog post for today.

  1. Well, I love the look of your blog. Has me thinking about making some changes.

I love this post, because I totally had this happen. Only mine was on the back side. I worked all day with my undies showing or rather flashing everyone. I work at an elementary school. Why did someone not say something? I was not brave enough to post about it.

  2. YUP! This happened to me too... I think that the moral of the story here is that we, as Moms, keep our jeans too long! We wear them out... my guess is that is one of your favorite pair!

Visiting from SITS, make it a great day!

And I had a hole in my pants except the hole was on my butt....everyone got a nice shot of my hot pink undies and I found out that night when my husband came home and said, "You went out like that all day?!?"

  9. 1) i don't like it. i LOVE it!!! (re: new blog design)

    2) nobody can see crotch rot. It feels weird and overexposed or whatever, but you'd have to be straddling a manhole for someone to actually SEE that. But. . . I don't know your life.

  10. Ahahaha, that's happened to me, too. Anyone who says it hasn't happened to them is probably lying - or just didn't notice at the time.

  11. Nice look! :) Totally could see your flower underwear. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me until I read that you were actually IN the jeans when you took that photo! :) I would have loved to see the look on that lady's face when you were taking a picture!

  13. Love the new look, but if photobucket ever has problems, you're going to have the same issues as last time, only now your header banner, the background, and all your buttons are going to disappear at the same time.

I would ask Brea if she can help you get those images hosted via your own blog so that they'll continue to show for as long as you need/want them to.

  15. I have a hole like that, but in the ass of my jeans. And I didn't notice until I was doing laundry. Aiee. At least I, like you, do not go commando.

    I love the blog design!

I had a hole in my jeans the other day. My 12 year old pointed it out...LOUDLY. I can always count on my kids to embarrass me even further.

  19. i had a pair of shorts with a similar hole, but i didn't want to give them up or bother with a patch, so i just wore them when i was going to clean a house. the trick was to remember when a client would be home while i was cleaning or when i'd have the house to myself. i didn't want to scare away any of my homeowners with my holey crotch shorts.

  20. That's happen to me before. Bright blue panties under my pants. So embarassing.

  21. You'd have to do a whole lot worse to be included in People of Walmart! LOL

I'm sure you taking a vagina shot gave your car passenger lots to ponder that day. ;-)

I think your blog looks great!

  24. love the new look!

and yeah, been there and done that. but even worse, is when I wore my fave white capri jeans - and thinking it was safe because they were jeans - not thin cotton - wore my flowered gitch. nope, white still reveals all. you're welcome country fair goers.

  28. the new look is great! i would say "adorable" but you don't strike me as the type that likes "adorable" lol.

you should get you some bendex denim patches from walmart! they are awesome for saving perfectly good jeans, and you just iron them on the inside and vio la!

  29. The new look is fab. The lady looks very in control.
I once taught 50 students with my shirt undone. They got full view of my less than pristine bra... So, yeah, I feel your pain.

Thank you for the laugh! (and thank you for not caring about the woman in the next car over and still taking the picture! It was worth it!)
