Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

-----------------------

To wish a whole neighborhood would break out into song like they do in The Muppets. Wouldn’t that be so much fun? Or maybe I’m just weird.

To be happy with the winner of Big Brother.

To still giggle when I see all the fashion trends on TV shows. I stick to jeans and a t-shirt. Almost always.

To not care who the judges are for American Idol. I stopped watching after season 2. Plus, I don’t get the point of Nicki Minaj.

To feel sorry for Kate Middleton for getting photographed topless. That photographer was a disgusting sleezeball. It’s a shame they can’t even relax. Would I have gone out topless? No. But then again, I don’t have Kate Middleton’s body. If I did, I might have.

To be excited to get some clothes at Gymboree this week. I have Gymbucks which means I only pay for half of everything.

To not really feel much of the “mom guilt” that other mothers seem to feel if they aren’t perfect. If my kids are alive and happy, I’m good to go.

To be happy that Army Wives was renewed for another season so long as it’s not so dang dramatic. It seems someone is always in the hospital. And if Roxy and Trevor return to Fort Marshall because of a mix up of orders, I’m not watching.

To not like the new Blogger look when you write new posts and such. I finally get used to the old one and it changes. No thanks! They should make it optional. I also hate when Facebook changes. Would Mark Zuckerberg like it if I went into HIS home and changed everything around?

and i can't stand american idol; i prefer the voice because the judges are funny and not as mean!

  2. This is a fun post. Heehee, I would love it if our neighborhood broke out in song. Kind of like a flashmob, but with singing.

  5. Wait..Did Blogger change again? Like this week? Because mine hasn't changed since that last one a few months (was it months?) back.

Hey, it's okay to be looking down and allow your foot to slip off the brake causing you to crash into the new car in front of you while in the car line at middle school this morning!

  6. I feel like every week you just read my mind! I'm glad Army Wives was renewed and could care less about American Idol too.. and that's okay. :D

  7. Great post! Are we sure Army Wives got picked up for another season? Really? I sure hope so but after the way it ended last season I'm not so sure they can come back from that but would LOVE to see it! I'm so sick of American Idol and agree with you about the new judge - that one made no sense to me at all. Facebook gets very annoying changing every time you turn around. Ugh! Can't wait to see the new Gymboree clothes. I can't pass a Gymboree store without thinking about you! LOL

  8. Thuesday? Bahahaha, I love it! I have pregnancy brains. Excuse my typing.
I'm right there with you on the American Idol thing, even though I never watched it to begin with. Why does it take over the news [at least here in Cali], especially before the season premiere? Who cares who is judging and for what price. They way it seems, the judges this season won't be judges for very long anyways. Aren't they constantly changing? And right with you on the Nicki Minaj. Why?! Steven Tyler wasn't weird enough?

  9. I always wished that a whole group of people would just bust out in song and dance at school, or at a meeting, or at work. It would be neat and I would totally want to join in!
I wish I could relax topless somewhere.. I definitely wouldn't mind having Kate Middleton's body either.
    I always love your 'Hey, it's okay"'s!

  11. I don't usually feel much mom guilty either. Only sometimes, but then it's usually mom jealousy :P

  12. If I had Kate Middleton's body I would walk around naked all.the.time. So much, that people would stop calling me Jane and start referring to me as "That Damn Naked Girl". But I do feel badly for her about that.

And I understand Niki Whoever as much as I understand upper level math or complex carbs and how they impact my glycemic index. (AKA. notsomuch).

  13. Hee hee...I don't mind Facebook's mutations, but I do think ol' Zucky could do with us nudging his furniture around - he's just too changes-trigger-happy! He'd forget later that evening, go to get a glass of water in the dark, and bang his shin badly on the new coffee table configuration. And then we could leap out and say "SEE?! That's how it feels!"

  14. I just started watching Army Wives on Netflix and I can't stop. I'm not sure if it's that good or I'm just bored with my husband out of town.

And I can't watch American Idol anymore either. It's gone way beyond me and my 35 years. :)

  15. i hate the new facebook to the point that I keep thinking about just deleteing mine!

  16. I wish there was more singing in real life too. I'm happy Army Wives was renewed. I thought leaving the series with the phone call was a really bad ending. I wish Dan won on Big Brother. He was an evil genius this season but I guess he made too many people mad.
