Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

-----------------

To be looking forward to Thanksgiving. I love turkey. We’re having it at my friend Jennifer’s house. I’m bringing the green bean casserole, stuffing, and apple pie.

To not be sure if I’ll do Black Friday or not. Apparently there’s some weird Oklahoma law that passed saying that Oklahoma won’t get the same deals. ?

To have volunteered to help set up and clean up at Natalie’s Thanksgiving party tomorrow that she’s having at her school. I’m going to be surrounded by five-year-olds. And now I’m picturing Kindergarten Cop.

To have started watching Married to the Army on the OWN network. It just started and I’m sure it’ll be repeating if you were curious.

To be going to see Breaking Dawn Part 2 on Wednesday with Jennifer. We’re seeing it in the balcony where I can order booze in case I get irritated. The movies are okay, but nothing I’d ever gush about.

To have really liked the first season of Homeland. Must watch season 2 now.

To know it’s going to be a long week because the kids are off Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

To have a Friends giveaway ending tomorrow. You can win a Blu Ray Friends series set here!

  1. I had to bail on my class's Thanksgiving Feast today. I'm home with my own sick kid. Bet you are glad you aren't on my volunteer list or you would have gotten the "It appears I won't be there tomorrow" email last night!

  2. I did Black Friday one year with my mom. I was probably 11 or 12 at the time? Anywho, a blizzard came through when we were in the mall (about 15 miles from our house), shutting down the roads and making it insanely dangerous to drive. We left the mall around dinner time, if I recall correctly, and didn't make it home until the wee hours of the morning. That experience, plus my hatred of shopping, pretty much ensured I'll never do a Black Friday sale again. I'm leaving it to Josh, because he loves that stuff.

  3. Are you loving Married to the Army as much as I am?! I stumbled upon it one night while looking for something On Demand and LOVE it! The girl who takes her army wife role VERY seriously is my favorite. she's going to make the show I think. :)

  5. My girls love to shop on black Friday. But we go when ever we decided to wake up and still manage to find some good deals. We never spend very much. I think the whole black Friday thing is just plan silly!

  6. LOVE Homeland too!!! We watch it online and it's amazing, and kinda scary to think that this stuff really happens!

Bella had school today. Which was a good thing because I busted butt to clean the house and it would never have looked this amazing if she were underfoot!!!

I've seen commercials for Married to the Army. I hope it's good by the time we finally get it over here!
