I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

To love going to bakeries. I went last week and walked out with a cake, cookies, and a slice of carrot cake because I couldn’t decide what flavor of cake I really wanted.
To really want to see Movie 43. I hope to see it with Tom when he gets back. We love silly movies like that.
To still be annoyed with Verizon. I wrote a post on why I think Verizon Sucks and it turns out lots of people have been burned by them. But I get that ALL cell phone companies rip off their customers and it’s a shame.
To hope people see Cougar Town tonight. It used to be on ABC, they cancelled it, so TBS picked it up because it’s hilarious. Watch it. Please. This show cannot be cancelled. (Find highlights here. If you love wine, you’ll love this show.)
To have seen This Is 40. It was a good movie but I thought the wife was crazy. She kept freaking out that her husband ate cupcakes. But her husband biked and such so at least he was working off said cupcakes. Yet she still had fits.
To be a little annoyed with Meri from Sister Wives. She’s wanting all this ridiculous things for her new home such as a wet bar. She only has 1 kid while her sister wives have 4-6. She wanted more but had fertility issues and I don’t think she should be punished for that but still…she needs to understand that she doesn’t NEED all these added house things. (The show airs on TLC fyi.)
To want my family and friends to stand up and suddenly sing One Day More if Tom and I renew our vows like what happened in this video at a wedding. (Thank you to Rory Bore for mentioning it!)
To have a contest going on for an awesome Daycase for your phone here. It ends tomorrow so hurry and enter!

I haven't watched Sister Wives in a while. And what the heck does she need a wet bar for?? THEY DON'T DRINK!!! Weirdness.
ReplyDeleteLOL at Jeannie, I thought the SAME thing about the Sister Wives thing.
ReplyDeleteOn the Verizon front, I also got switched to the new not unlimited plan but they were very clear on that when I upgraded, so I knew what I was getting in to. It worked out for us because I gave my teenage daughter my old iPhone and now instead of paying for a separate data plan for her, my husband and myself, we can share the same one and we save over what it would have been to have three smart phones on our plan. Still sucks, but I'm not a huge data user anyway and I just had to tell my husband to curb his Pandora habit unless he's connected to WiFi.
I think if I had to share a husband, especially HIM (ick), I'd want a wet bar, too. lol
ReplyDeleteI just saw that Cougar Town moved to TBS - I love that show, so I'll make a point of catching it on the new station!
ReplyDeleteI think it is ridiculous for Meri to want so much in her house too. Here's my problem: she is getting a four (or five?) bedroom house but has to have an extra bedroom for a hobby room (something about the building plans). Why can't she just turn one of those extra bedrooms into a hobby room? Why does she have to have french doors instead of a sliding door? Why does she have to be so obnoxious?! Hubs and I actually got into an argument about it and I got so mad, I left the room then finished watching it later by myself! (He was pro-Meri.)
ReplyDeleteI have to stay away from bakeries...i always end up leaving with more than I wanted. But they are soooo good!
ReplyDeleteSister Wives...that's a show I just don't get. I watch it from time to time...but I just don't get it.
I agree with the sisterwives thing. I don't understand why they cant share houses. They did in Utah. You could do 2 and 2 and save so much money. I really don't understand how they are affording these houses anyway.
ReplyDeleteGAH YES!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe this 5 bedroom thing with Meri. Can she not have...3? Smaller house for her, since she does have only one child? I totally get why she thinks she is being "slighted" but, it is reality that she doesn't need that much space.
If they are sister wives why aren't they all in one big house?
ReplyDeleteThey had a booth at the Holiday Craft Fair here in Vegas last month, all weekend there were two cameras on their booth and customers to get film for the TV show.
And Movie 43? It's R rated - are you allowed to go to those?
I love Cougar Town. I have the DVR set to record it tonight.
ReplyDeleteI also couldn't believe how much Meri was wanting for her house. I understand she likes to host the family gatherings, but it is a bit crazy to go over budget when it isn't necessary. I want to know how much they are making from the show. I never see them work, but yet they can afford 4 huge houses.
Now you've got me thinking about heading into the bakery in my town...yum!!
ReplyDeleteAw man I miss Sister Wives... I should catch up online.
ReplyDeleteI can understand Meri's desire for extra counter space but you can buy a 6 foot fold up table for $40. Or an extra kitchen table for a couple hundred. They are totally turning into John and Kate and Kate and Kate and Kate.
ReplyDeleteI've never watched Cougar Town. Maybe I try tonight. I love a good laugh! :) I bookmarked this link up. Maybe I will be back Tuesday. :)
ReplyDeleteSo agreed about Meri. Look, I can understand all the wives being treated equally. Whatever, that's how they decided to do it and that's fine. But the fact that she was OVER budget and she didn't seem to understand why that was an issue. And the fact that Kody asked Christine to give money to Meri. He was NOT kidding about that like he said later.
ReplyDeleteI love love Sister Wives and I agree she was totally going over the edge.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why any of the sisterwives need million dollar houses, but Meri bothers me the most. Not only does she only have one kid, her daughter is a senior! She'll be moving out in a year or two, so why does Meri need 5 bedrooms? Why not just get an apartment and use the money to better the other kid's lives? Pure selfishness!
