Help.
I’ve gotten addicted to the word of Disney Customs since we’re going to Disney World in June.
What are Disney Customs?
Well, if you look on Etsy and type in Disney, lots of adorable outfits pop up.
The problem is, a lot of them are super expensive. For instance, I love this one from someone named SewJenuine.
But it’s $200.
Yeah.
Too much.
So I’ve been searching for more affordable outfits.
I found this one:
(The words say “It All Started With A Mouse.”)
Natalie approves.
It’s by castleseamstress on Etsy.
Natalie is also insisting on bringing her Rapunzel wedding gown.
It is a gorgeous dress, but there is glitter everywhere. If we brought the dress, glitter would get on everything.
So maybe she’ll have her own suitcase.
Naturally, the dress is not complete without the crown..
She ran off to sing and dance. “When will my LIFEEEE BEEEEE-GINNNNNNN?!”
She tossed her flowers in the air. Thank goodness they did not get stuck on the roof. Chaos would have ensued.
My princess is incredibly excited about meeting Rapunzel.
“I just love her so much and I hope she loves me too.”

I love Disney customs. My girl is really too big for them though, plus the expense is a bit insane! I did bring her Aurora dress on our last trip. She put it on for the princess pictures and otherwise it was in my backpack folded up. I'd suggest putting it into a small bag of it's own to contain the glitter!
ReplyDeleteOH, that last photo - I can see her modeling in 20 years
ReplyDeleteWe are going in June and I haven't told the kids yet. I'm excited though! I'm sure Natalie will have a blast!!
ReplyDeleteI have always loved Natalie's outfits. I love the dress up, reminds me of when my girls were little
ReplyDeleteyour daughter is adorable!!
ReplyDeleteaww she looks soooo cute! Love it, I am all about customs for birthdays every year we get one to match calebs party theme {good stuff}
ReplyDeleteShe is going to love Disney World! You will have to take her to the Bibbidy Bobbidi Boutique. That seems like an experience Natalie would love.
ReplyDeleteNatalie is SO beautiful! And I love that dress!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm addicted to Etsy too. Though my searches tend to lean towards Doctor Who.
That is just too cute..!
ReplyDeleteMy husband works in Downtown Disney and these princesses are EVERYWHERE but I like to see the Disney customs instead.
Pack the Rapunzel gown in a large ziploc bag, then the glitter won't get all over everything else!
ReplyDeleteWe live close enough to Disney that it's feasible to do day trips there, so we've been a TON. Most of the little girls that dress up do so in the princess dresses, so I think you're fine with what you've got already. Have a great time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! I can't wait to hear about her meeting with Rapunzel.
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOODNESS! I LOVE HER RUPUNZEL OUTFIT!!
ReplyDeleteI also love the "it all started with a mouse' dress, too. VERY CUTE!
I wish I lived near disneyland. (or even on the same continent would be something at least) I'm 27 years old and I am STILL Disney crazy, I'm not even kidding.
Its so easy to get carried away with custom stuff on etsy! How exciting that your planning a trip to Disney world! I'm counting the days until I can take my son to Disney Land, even thought its a few years away lol I think I will be more excited than him
ReplyDeletePack the princess dress in a plastic bag so that she can still enjoy being a princess at Disney and contain the glitter. The photos you'll be able to catch at Disney are worth a little glitter! Abby has the same dress so we'll be hauling it to Disney later this year! Abby took her Tiana dress on our last trip and she felt so special being at the Magic Kingdom and being all dressed up!
ReplyDeleteThat's adorable!
ReplyDeleteNatalie is too cute! Makes me miss my daughter being that little. I love how excited kids get when they go to Disney!
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute! Love the dresses!
ReplyDeleteI love the Mickey dress, that will be so much fun for her to wear while you are at Disney.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous costumes! Those fences remind me of the ones when I lived in Hawaii at Schofield Barracks.
ReplyDeleteAdorable!! The characters WILL make them feel so special and are so patient with them! Go to my blog and see Bella talking to Ariel! It was AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteTotally adorable! When we took our girls to Disney, I scoured Zulilly for months to get bargains on Disney wear. You will have a fabulous time! :)
ReplyDeleteLove all things Disney! She looks adorable and you are gonna have a blast!
ReplyDeleteWe have a whole closet full of Disney Princess dresses and I realized that most are too small for my 4 year old so it looks like I need to buy more at a much bigger size so she grows into them. I have been wanting to get my girls the rapunzle wedding dress its so pretty! Have a great time at Disney!
ReplyDeleteYour princess is precious and I can't wait to hear all about her meeting Rapunzel! :-)
ReplyDeleteToo adorable! I hope you all have a great time! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my Natural and Free blog and leaving a comment earlier. I really appreciate it. :)
Have an amazing week!
How exciting! I hope you all have a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is perfection, this post made me so excited for when I have a little one to dress up, aw too cute.
ReplyDeleteI do custom sewing and embroidery and that Epcot dress is a LOT of embroidery so $200 is not a bad price. I would do one inspired by it for around $150 though - The Sewing Queens on FB
