I cleaned like a mad woman.
I shaved.
And I baked a cake.
Because...Tom is home!
He’s been gone most of the month at training for an upcoming deployment. I’m lucky that he gets to come home for a little bit before he deploys.
Natalie is total Daddy's Girl so she's thrilled to have him back.
"Mommy doesn't play horse with me," Natalie tattled.
(Horse, by the way, is what she calls what is going on in the photo.)

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet photo. Enjoy your time together!
ReplyDeleteI hope she shared him.
ReplyDeleteOh how cute! Glad he's home, at least for a little while! :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome home Tom! I hope Natalie shares him a little with you while he's home. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww. Glad he's back, hopefully he brought some sanity with him...
ReplyDeleteThat's great he was able to come back home for a little while!!
ReplyDeleteYay! My guy is doing the same thing right now. I want him to hurry up so we can spend as much time together as possible before he deploys.
ReplyDeleteCute picture! I hope you get some good quality time together and as a family before he leaves.
ReplyDeleteYay! Back!
ReplyDeleteI am glad he is back and you guys have time together before he has to leave again.
ReplyDeleteYay for getting some time together before deployment :)
ReplyDeleteAnd cake... mmmmm.... :D
Miltary wives are seriously strong women. My cousin is amoung them. I know I certainly wouldn't have the patience or strength to deal with that life. Hats off to you!
ReplyDeleteKids are never happier than when they are on Daddy's shoulders!!
ReplyDeleteI always get told on too. I wonder if he was home with them as much as I am if they would greet me every single time the way they greet him when he gets home. Us mama's get the short end of the stick. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad he's back! Enjoy your family time! xo
ReplyDeleteEnjoy that hubs of yours while he's home (if you can steal him from the kids).
ReplyDeleteYAY! and holy cow, I know you are both young, but he looks like a teenager in that picture! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is great to hear! You guys must be so thrilled
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Must be so nice to have him around for a little bit! Enjoy your time :)
ReplyDeleteMy friends and I all have a "One Man Wolf Pack" keychain bottle opener as a sign of our friendship. So Tom is a pretty gnarly dude, in my eyes.
