And He's Back

I cleaned like a mad woman.

I shaved.

And I baked a cake.

Because...Tom is home!



He’s been gone most of the month at training for an upcoming deployment. I’m lucky that he gets to come home for a little bit before he deploys.

Natalie is total Daddy's Girl so she's thrilled to have him back.

"Mommy doesn't play horse with me," Natalie tattled.

(Horse, by the way, is what she calls what is going on in the photo.)

    Yay! My guy is doing the same thing right now. I want him to hurry up so we can spend as much time together as possible before he deploys.

    Miltary wives are seriously strong women. My cousin is amoung them. I know I certainly wouldn't have the patience or strength to deal with that life. Hats off to you!

    I always get told on too. I wonder if he was home with them as much as I am if they would greet me every single time the way they greet him when he gets home. Us mama's get the short end of the stick. :)

    My friends and I all have a "One Man Wolf Pack" keychain bottle opener as a sign of our friendship. So Tom is a pretty gnarly dude, in my eyes.
