Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

-------------------

To love that Gary Busey is going to be on Celebrity Apprentice All Stars. He cracks me up.

To be looking forward to the Celebrity Wife Swap that airs February 26th. Kate Gosselin and Kendra Wilkinson (former Hugh Hefner girlfriend) switch places. And mind you, Kate has all those kids and Kendra has one..should be entertaining..

To have had our tax refund for a brief time before it all went to pay off our Disney trip and bills.

To be getting professional family photos done this weekend. I hope I don’t look scary. I do not always photograph well.

To feel like I’m sometimes going into a whole different world whenever we go to WalMart.

To have cleared out a lot of toys from Tommy’s room. He’s nearly 11 so he’s at the stage in his life where toys are starting to go away.

To wonder if anyone else smells the cat feces in the box because I always seem to be the one changing it.

To think it’s ridiculous that people from the Carnival Cruise that was stranded are suing Carnival. Even though the passengers have even said the workers were doing everything they could, Carnival offered refunds PLUS paid for everyone to get home…what else were they supposed to do?

  1. Haha! I can totally relate to the Walmart comment. I wonder how some people feel comfortable enough to leave their houses in what I see them wearing. *shrugs* I suppose some of them may think that of me... but I usually go in whatever I wore to work that day so I hope I don't look too horrendous! :)

  4. I absolutely HATE Wal-Mart! LOL! I haven't seen the trailer for Celebrity Wife Swap, but I think I would be interested to see Kendra and Kate switch! Stopping in from SITS.

  5. I totally agree with you about people sueing Carnivel Cruise Lines. It's ridiculous! Carnival has put forth a very reasonable offer.

  6. I wish I had cable to watch that Wife Swap haha. I bet Kendra will be freaking out!

Your photos are going to be awesome!

  7. If someone got injured or killed, I could see going after the cruise line, but that's just taking advantage of the situation!

And yes, Walmart is a whole different planet... So is Costco, which I learned over the weekend.

I'm not very photogenic either, I can look pretty scary in pictures.
I swear people will sue for anything, ugh.

  10. Celebrity Wife Swap?! How is it that I am just hearing about this now? I must watch this!!!

  11. You know, I said the exact same thing about the Carnival thing-- they are raving about how awesome the crew were under the circumstances and I even heard my STep mom who has never traveled via cruise ship say she would never use Carnival-- I think the bottom line is that this was not their first time to have issues like this--and of all the cruise liners, they appear to be the ones with the bad experiences... so because of their history of not maintaining their ship, I wouldn't cruise with them but I think those crew people should get a freakin' BONUS like no other to thank them for being so professional. And yeah, people will sue for anything-- sad.

  12. ooooh! I love this!!
    So funny!!

I *always* think it's okay to look forward to any reality tv show. I refuse to be shamed by my love of these absurd shows. They are too fun.

  13. Celebrity Wife Swap?! I hadn't heard anything about it, but I would love to see it, so thanks! However, I must point out that Kate Gosselin isn't married anymore, so she wouldn't be a "wife". Or, is she still technically married? I'm not in the "know". The title of these shows bug me when they specify wife, and the women aren't married, so they should replace wife with mom or something. Just a small pet peeve of mine since it's the same thing that bugs me about my love for the Real Housewives shows because some of them aren't wives either. They might be moms, and good for tv, but they don't fit the show title. Right? lol

And I completely relate to you about the Walmart thing.

  14. I don't know what it is but I have a hard time watching Gary Busey. Haha! That should be interesting having Kendra watch all Kate's kids! I agree with you about the people on the Carnival Cruise. They were pretty generous with what they offered the passengers!

  15. I cannot wait for Celebrity Apprentice to start! I love that show! I don't watch Wife Swap but I just might solely to see Kendra try and deal with those kids!

  16. How have I not heard of this Celebrity Wife Swap? I watch everything. Definitely going to set my DVR for sure!

YAY for family photos. I hope they turn out great!!

  17. They sue because they can. And they know Carnival will settle. I'd have been happy with refunds. And maybe a free upgrade for next time.

    Good luck with your photos!!

Our refund, pathetic though it was, is being used to visit London and Rome. We are always saving for our next big trip!

  18. Amen on the cruise ship thing. People are not really nice anymore.

  19. Ugh the Carnival thing makes me so mad. I swear people are just sue happy. Totally ridiculous.

  20. I would think if I was a passenger on the cruise ship, I would have expected it not to break down in the first place and, if it did, for there to be a better backup plan then what was provided. Then I would expect the CEO to hold his tongue because an apology does not not come close to makng things better, particularly when you just arrived back. And finally, the cruise line should have made sure the bus they took passengers home in did not break down.

In most cases, I would agree that people are sue-happy. In this case, it seems justified.
