Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

---------------

To not think Channing Tatum is all that. A lot of women go nuts for him and I’m like, “Meh. I’ll take Elijah Wood or John Krasinski, thanks.”

To usually be sipping on a Diet Coke when someone shares an anti-diet soda post on Facebook. Oops.

To really need to get my hair done. My roots are showing. But since Tom is gone, I have no one to impress and I really don’t care so…eh. Eventually I’ll get to it.

To be enjoying the show The Following. It creeps me out and intrigues me at the same time.

To have gone to a Medieval Fair last weekend and enjoyed it. I loved the people in costume walking around. And there was a stand that said Roasted German Nuts that made me giggle.

To appreciate all the kind notes that people left on yesterday’s post. Tommy has a track meet today (unless it gets rained out—we’re due for a storm) and he seems to understand that he can only do his best even if that means not winning.

To be excited that I won an awesome prize over at Chick Lit Is Not Dead. I got a critique from author Sarah Pekkanen, PLUS a copy of her new book The Best Of Us, out today!

  2. It's okay that you don't like Channing.....more for me. Although I wouldn't mind seeing John Krasinski do a little strip tease, too.... ;)

  5. Channing Tatum does NOTHING for me. He was in our town filming a movie a couple of months back and everything female within miles was quivering. Everything but me. I don't like his eyes. :/

And yep, I've been caught more than once listening to/reading an anti-diet soda rant with one in my hand.

  6. I'm with you on Channing Tatum not doing anything for me, sure he has a pretty rockin bod.. but I'm not really impressed. I'm pretty meh about him to. Now, Matt Bomer on the other hand! Ha ha!
I really need to get my hair done too.. I'm rocking an 'ombre' look because my highlights have grown out so much.
    Good luck to Tommy today!

  7. or to be drinking a diet Coke when someone rants about sugar. It doesn't matter what you do, somebody is against it.

  8. Well, I am drinking a Dt. Dr. Pepper while reading that you drink Diet Coke while reading about anti-soda posts, so is that even worse? Or better? Oh well. Drink on!

  9. I had my hair done the other day, no more roots makes me pretty happy! I like a Diet Coke, but I'm trying to cut down because my dentist gets cross with me. I'm not as worried about the anti-soda folks, they're less scary than my dentist.

  13. Ah the Following is such a crazy show! I have felt so many emotions with it... which it almost bothers me when shows possess that power!

  14. I started watching The Following, but I had to stop until my husband gets back. It's too creepy for me when I'm alone in the house...but it's such a good show!

  15. Give me Blake Shelton anytime over Channing Tatum! Or any country man for that matter!

  17. Um, so you can have Elijah Wood but John Krasinski is already taken by me so you can step off. ;)

  18. Channing who?
Every time I see a fitness Pin on Pinterest, and I look at my over 2,500 Pins of food, well, I have mixed feelings. Mostly, I just want to at cake. :)
