Naturally, we are all excited. Yes, it will stink because Tom won’t be with us to enjoy it. But it’s a mini family reunion on his side so I will have help.
I’ve purchased many outfits for the trip. I can’t help it. It’s my weakness. (I should clarify that these outfits are not for ME. They are for my daughter. And I picked some out for my son, but boy clothes are simply not as fun as girl clothes.)
One set of outfits I love?

It took some coaxing to get Tommy in that tunic. He was like, “People will laugh at me!” I insisted that they wouldn’t. I asked if he wouldn’t mind dyeing his hair for the occasion, because Flynn has DARK hair in the movie. I was semi-joking. (Didn’t matter. He refused.)
My little Flynn—well, Eugene Fitzherbert, as Natalie insists on calling him—is all ready for Disney World:

Obviously my little Rapunzel is ready. Has been for years.

She probably will NOT bring the wig with her. This is because it’s going to be HOT in Florida. Note to self: pack a mini fan. I tend to break down when I’m overheated and under caffeinated.
Natalie will NOT wear her Rapunzel dress all day. She says they start to get itchy. So I’ll have a back up outfit ready to go in my backpack. It’ll be like an awards show when we go to Disney World: there will be multiple outfit changes per day. And yes, it’s sad to say that I’ve purchased enough clothes to allow this.
(Tom was like, “How many dresses does one child need?” I changed the subject by flashing him my boobs. Oh, this was via Skype. We weren’t out in public or anything. I am not Courtney Love.)
Yes, we have been to Disney World before. But this was Natalie when we last went:

Yeah. So needless to say, taking her this time will be exciting. My Disney obsessed princess is going to have a blast.
DANG, you certainly are in the spirit girl. I've been to Disney World several times and never knew you were supposed to dress up except the one time we went on Halloween.
ReplyDeleteI love getting the girls dressed up for Disney!! And yeah, its going to be a hot one!! I would rather be in Orlando than the islands because its getting hotter here every day!! Have fun, enjoy, and most of all - HYDRATE!!! (Ooohhh and get one of those nifty fans that spray water because they are just so cool!!)
ReplyDeleteOh how I can't wait for our turn! My Aunt lives in Orlando and works for the theme parks so it's just up to us to find cheap flights..and time. My daughter calls him "Flynn Ryland" and we laugh at it and we never bother to correct her. I can't wait to hear about your trip!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!! Cannot wait to visit again. Hope you have a blast! :)
ReplyDeleteWe're going the second week of June. I have a Sleeping Beauty dress that Frances might fit into. I haven't looked too hard for the boys. Benjamin doesn't like costumes, though. I am not super excited because this is a trip with my in-laws and they don't seem to like me much.
ReplyDeleteOh you're going to have so much fun! Or rather, Natalie will ;)
ReplyDeleteShe is too cute in that last photo. We're probably going in November. Penny will be just shy of 2 years then.
Love those outfits! You're going to have such a great time. My husband used to shake his head at the number of outfits for our princess but now he knows there's no point-just nod and carry the back pack is all he has to do.
ReplyDeleteGlad you've got family going to help!
That will be so much fun. I'd like to bring my daughter there someday. I've never been there either.
ReplyDeleteYea Na!! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you guys! You will have so much fun!
ReplyDeleteSweet photos! I miss Disney World so much. We went a few times when our kids were young. They're grown now, but I'd go back in a heartbeat. Have fun! (P.S. That Rapunzel wig is priceless.)
ReplyDeleteAdorable pictures!! Your Courtney Love comment made me laugh for 5 minutes!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you! I know you're going to have a blast!! --Lisa
They look gorgeous! I've only been to Disney in Paris, but I loved the parade. Have a great time, and post all the outfits like they do for award shows! Oh, and flashing your boobs is the best way to change any conversation subject. Good work!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter wore her belle dress almost all day. Definitely take a back up outfit!
ReplyDeleteThat's so awesome that you're getting in the spirit! I can't wait to have kids and dress them up!
ReplyDeleteThe kids are going to have a blast! Love the outfits!
ReplyDeleteThe girls lasted in their dresses until about 9:15 am! It was sooo hot. I found that the cotton dresses were the way to go.
ReplyDeleteAnd, seriously, the Repunzel and Flynn? ADORABLE!
I love the outfits. Your children are adorable. Sounds like you are going to have an awesome time.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get that wig? It's amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI cannot WAIT to hear about Natalie's reaction to Disney. You will have a blast, I'm sure! The kids look adorable. Natalie was meant to be Rapunzel. ;)
ReplyDeleteTheir outfits are too cute!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!
