I know I usually post Things That Annoy Me Thursday but hey, it’s the 4th of July so I’ll share patriotic pictures instead.
Last year I got this shot of Natalie with her Daddy.
He’s deployed, so I had to make do without him.
Natalie proudly sported her red boots (bought for 12.99 at Gymboree, thankyouverymuch.)
Then she was like, “STOP! You need to make me laugh.”
This means I had to run into the house. My discomfort makes her smile. So I did that and:
“You are a goofy mommy!”
I got her to take more photos:
Then I called Tommy from the cave which is his room. He wasn’t exactly pleased. “What?” he grumbled, but then appeased me and took some pictures.
I tried to get a photo of the two of them. Natalie was like, “It’s cowboy hat time!” I said, “I’d prefer not,” but she plopped a hat on Tommy’s head, grabbed hers and went, “COWBOY HAT TIME!”
Doesn’t Tommy look thrilled?
I can never get a good picture of the two of them.
Someone either looks pissed off.
Strange.
Or downright looking away.
Oh well.
Happy 4th of July! I’ll be enjoying it with friends. We’re having a BBQ where I plan to stuff my face, because calories don’t count on holidays.
