And was it sad that the first thing I thought of was dandruff? It had been a few days since I last washed my hair. Was she pointing out my dandruff?
“Something is poking out of your shirt,” the cashier clarified kindly.
I looked over and sure enough, the stupid clear, elastic string that companies still insist on adding to some clothing was showing.
This thing:
I hate them! They always seem to pop out.
I get they are for hanging clothes up. But I just hang up my stuff the usual way: sticking hangars in the arm holes.
Go away, clear things! I just need to start cutting them out.

I rip them out. Every.Single.Time. So annoying. If the item can't stay on the hanger like normal, then I fold it over the bottom of the hanger.
ReplyDeleteI loathe those silly things!! I just rip them out as soon as I get a new top. They pull off pretty easily =) They are useless on any shirt that has armholes or straps! I don't get it!

ReplyDeleteI'll admit, that I use them sometimes for tops that tend to fall off the hangers. I prefer the clear ones to the fabric ones. If I don't need them, I do cut them out though.
ReplyDeleteI only use them on a few sweaters and dresses. The rest I cut out immediately. It bugs me when mine stick out, and it kills me when I see them sticking out on others. lol
ReplyDeleteThey don't put those in guy clothes, we would tear them out and still put the clothes in a pile on the floor where they belong.
ReplyDeleteNo, and the plastic ones are terrible. I have dresses from Anthropologie (from pre-kid paycheck days) and it has them in cloth, which are just as bad. My son has learned how to pull them out of my dress and hang on them when I try to put him in his crib. It's fun. Not.

ReplyDeleteI have 2 dresses that I use them on but the rest are cut out immediately...they are annoying as hell - and they are always in the worst spots!! Ugh!!
