I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

To plan on pigging out at the State Fair. I love fair foods! Deep fried butter? Yes please. Bacon bombs? Of course! I figure all the walking around burns it off.
To hate that my computer is dying. It will freeze like every half hour to an hour. I've already run my virus scan. Nothing. Then I get pop ups saying that there are issues with exe. Does anyone know how to fix it? My computer IS old. It still has Windows Vista. But if I can fix it, I'd prefer to do that instead of getting a new computer.
To really dislike it when people go, “How are we this morning?” I have to bite my tongue from replying, “I’m fine, I’m not sure about you though.”
To be intrigued that McDonalds is selling spicy boneless chicken wings in certain states to test out how it does. I want to try some! I love spicy foods. I love McDonalds. Win/Win!
To have followed some of the actors from the Wicked show we saw Sunday on Twitter. It's taking all my willpower not to gush dramatically at them how much I love their voices.
To be excited for all the new fall shows to be starting up. There are new ones I want to check out such as Sleepy Hollow, The Michael J Fox Show, Trophy Wife, The Goldbergs....the list goes on and on. I watch a lot of TV.
To have lots of giveaways going on right now. You can win a Blu-Ray+DVD copy of The Lorax here. Find out how to win an iPad Mini here. Win a subscription to a magazine here. (There will be 9 winners!) Win a Blu-Ray+DVD copy of The Little Mermaid here.

What are bacon bombs?!?!? Why have I never had one before?!?!?
ReplyDeleteOkay...I LOVED Vista! I know not everyone did, but I did. I had Vista until I got this computer last Christmas. It's Windows 8. WINDOWS 8 IS THE WORST!! If it's at all possible, try to get your computer de fragged and patched up until they come out with then next version of Windows. You've GOT to skip this one. It's just awful. The next version will have to be better than this nightmare. Even now, 10 months later, I lament having awful Windows 8 EVERY DAY and wish I had my Vista back. Learn from my mistake!! --Lisa

ReplyDeleteThe first time I read this my eyeballs didn't see the "on Twitter" part of that sentence ... I was thinking, "Man, this is about to get creepy ..." lol (Forgive me .. it's VERY early!)
I'm looking forward to Trophy Wife too...it looks pretty funny!
ReplyDeleteI work on PCs all day - perhaps I can help? I'm not real fond of Vista - so I don't work on them all that much - but most problems are common to all of them.
ReplyDeleteI think you have my email addy - If you shoot me some specifics (the full wording of the error messages - perhaps I see what's wrong).
:) no guarantees - but then, no charge either.
The wings are pretty good... they have them up here in Colorado:) but they aren't boneless.....
ReplyDeleteI love your theory about the fair food.
ReplyDeleteDid you really try the butter?! I love the foot+ corn dogs that they always have. I can't wait for fall TV! I'm excited about Bones, and sad that NBC cancelled The New Normal.
ReplyDeleteWe have the big New England Fair (The Big E) this week and next. We can't wait! I'll be sure to eat something ridiculous and love it and think of you.
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you on the fall shows. I have each start date scheduled to remind me in my phone to setup the new DVR. I'm waiting for James to get home tonight to watch the first episode of Sleepy Hollow. It looks awesome, I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteWe just went to our state fair this past weekend and they were selling fried butter! I totally would have tried it but my galbladder would have killed me ha ha.
ReplyDeleteI definitely want to see Sleepy Hollow!!
I'm excited for the Fall shows to begin... WooHoo! & I'm not a morning person until like 10-ish...lol. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat virus software are you using? There are some great free programs out there. In conjunction with Norton, I also use Windows Defender,CCleaner, and Malware Bytes - and knock wood, lately haven't had any issues. One of those (Malware, I think) also will clean your registery, which is important, I'm told. Also you might want to run the de-frag on your computer. If you have any questions, send me an email and I'll try to walk you through it. I'm no expert, but I'm happy to help where I can.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, those free programs? Those are the ones the IT department at work recommended for me. And so far, so good.
My computer was doing that- I had to give in and get a new one. :(
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for new fall tv. I'm a tv junkie.
OK, I would have loved to see you stalking the cast of Wicked!! Too funny. And go you with the bacon bombs. I'm with ya, although I'm more of a funnel cake kind of gal. Sorry to hear about your computer. :(
ReplyDeleteI want to see Trophy Wife also.
ReplyDeleteOur computer is still Windows Vista as well. I'm going to be sunk if it ever quits on me. I'm excited for fall television as well. Did you have a chance to watch Sleepy Hollow? I thought it was good but WAY too scary (I can't do scary).
ReplyDeleteI saw the episode of Trophy Wife that they were showing on OnDemand and I love it!! I hope I remember to catch it when it airs. As for the computer I'm there with you on my laptop. It's Vista as well and doing the pausing not wanting to work thing and honestly - I can't afford a new one so I have to figure out a way to fix it...my computer geek brother says there's no hope - but there is always hope!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a big fair to go to. Sounds like fun! Can't wait to read that post. :)
ReplyDeleteI can not believe I don't know what a bacon bomb is. In fact, I am a bit embarrassed by that fact...
