Happy Veterans Day

I am so thankful for those who have fought for our freedom.

This includes my Grandpa, Bill, and my mother, who is a retired Colonel in the Air Force.

I saw this floating around Facebook and really liked it:

I will always be thankful to my husband Tom, who continues to be there for his country.

We hope he won't have to leave and defend it anytime soon.

I so appreciate everyone who has fought and been there for their country. Being a soldier can be a thankless job sometimes. But just know that there are people out there who are so thankful for all you do.

Thank you.

Happy Veterans Day.

  13. Kudos to your husband for walking the walk, and for you for being there supporting him. It is never easy to be an army wife; you often sleep with your mind half-awake as you pray that your husband is safe at the moment, while he prays for the safety of his family he had to temporarily leave behind to serve the country. Good day!
