Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. To be bummed that Shirley Temple died. I used to watch her movies all the time growing up. I hope to get Natalie to appreciate them.


To wonder what is going on with Bruce Jenner.


To think it's crazy that people are spending a bunch of money on phones with Flappy Bird on them. I guess some went for $1000 on eBay? What? I didn't even bother with the game, it looks ridiculous.


To be happy that Tommy is doing well in school. I went to his parent/teacher conferences and he has NO zeroes, which means he's finally turning everything in. He's also asking questions in class if he's confused, which is a big thing, as he's usually pretty quiet.


To have thought the latest Walking Dead was interesting. That Lizzie child is slightly troubled.


To be grateful to Rabia for making the code for my button if people want to easily grab it.


To think the name John Krasinski and his wife Emily gave their daughter is perfect: Hazel.

    When i read the news that John and Emily had their baby it made me think of you. Gosh I do love him!

    And Tommy's face just cracks me up. Bless him.

    Lizzie (from the Walking Dead) is seriously disturbed. My current working theory is that she is the one who killed Tyreese's girlfriend and Carol just helped her cover it up. Because that girl? Insane.

    Um, yeah. What the heck is up with Bruce?? And Shirley Temple's death made me sad. I had a painting of her up in my room as a child that my parents bought for me before they even knew they were having me.

    I was sad when Shirley died too. She was an icon. Glad Tommy is doing well in school. Its so reassuring to know that he's asking for help when he needs it!

    I'm super glad that you are keeping me informed - I'm so horrible about keeping up with people and had no idea that John K and his wife had a baby.

    Now I'm curious about the Bruce Jenner thing lol and usually I don't pay attention - plus he's just weird and gross so I try to keep him off my radar. I have Flappy Bird because of all the crap I heard about it. It is quite sad that people are so obsessed and obsessed enough to pay so much for something they'll hate in 2 days. DUMB!

    Oh my gosh, that Lizzie is a trouble girl indeed. to put it mildly. I cannot believe the return of a certain someone!! and of all people for her to run into - HIM!!

    Geez, I gotta keep reminding myself these are not real people.

    my son found this other game, like flappy bird - I don't know what it is, but he's crazed with it.

    Oh Lizzie... I have a feeling she's going to be more than slightly disturbed. I haven't read the graphic novels, but from what I've heard, the character she's based on from them is really messed up.

    I had Flappy Bird on my phone but deleted it when Gia was playing and got so mad, she threw my phone. People are paying $1000 for it?! I wonder about Bruce Jenner, too. He's morphing into something very strange.

    I keep hearing great things about The Walking Dead. Someday I'll get around to watching it. Kudos to your son for doing well in school. My son showed me what Flappy Bird was last week. Didn't thrill me at all.

    I was bummed about Shirley Temple, too. My 13 yo daughter was just discovering her movies and loved them.
    She loves Wizard of Oz, too, and Elvis...she's old school.
